2009 Wedding Season just around the corner.

It's freezing outside, but April is just around the corner......which means wedding season begins.  We added new pics to our website on the "Galleries" section....check out www.cvillecakes.com.  Another really great website is weddingwire.com/cvillecakes.  You can read ratings and reviews.  We also received  the 2009 Bride's Choice Awards on WeddingWire.  Very cool.

I have developed some new flavors for Cakes Unlimited's menu this Spring:

New Fillings!!!  Lime Curd; Lime Marmalade, Spiced Ginger, Champagne & Strawberries, Oranges & Champagne, not to mention all the other yummy flavors we have.

New Cakes!!!  Spice Cake; White Coconut Cake; Retro Red Velvet; Orange Cream Cake (for all those UVA fans).

New Buttercreams!!!  Grand Marnier; Killer Coconut

Thank you to all our 08 Brides....we had the honor of baking and delivering over 90 yummy wedding cakes.  I will be posting new cake pics every weekend.

Our calendar for 2008 is quickly filling up! Several weekends have already closed (i.e. May 3rd, May 24/25th, June 7th). We are currently still booking weddings for June and starting into the Fall weddings.

Welcome Back Jenn!! We are so blessed to have Jenn Muse back in the kitchen! Jenn is our oldest daughter, and she has come back to help with Cakes Unlimited! Jenn worked with me for 4 years, so she's jumped right in and she's off and baking!

We have already booked around 80 weddings so far this year, and are expanding our baking operations to handle all the new business. Our family business is expanding and we are all excited here about creating great wedding cakes.

To all the brides we have met so far....thank you and we are looking forward to creating your cakes!!
