Now, I live in France, like a freelance.
My name is KlariszMedea. I was born in 1983 in Szabadszallas, which is located in Bacs-Kiskun County.
Usually I live in Pecs, Baranya County.
I study at the University of Pecs, Faculty of Music and the Visual Arts, and am presently a fourth year student of art education, specializing in sculpture. My tutors are Colin Foster and Istvan Bencsik. At the present, I am teaching elementary school children at the Ferenc Deak Elementary and High School.
Alongside this, I create stone sculptures, practice photography and attend concerts.
In 2001, I passed my maturity exam at the Kalman Kando Technical College and Vocational School in Kecskemet, Department of Applied Arts, with which I earned a profession as a ceramist. My teachers at the time were Pal Lakatos, sculptor, and Mihaly Sari ceramist.
After this, I studied to be a photographer in Kecskemet, at the Andras Gaspar Technical College and Vocational School and Collegium. I received my certificate in this profession in 2003. My tutors here were
photographers Elek Gabris and Gyorgy Somogyi. I work as a photographer until this very day.
Work Experience:
Every year since 1992, I work at the Forest School in Szabadszallas, at the art camp of Kornelia Kalasz. For the past few years, I have worked there as a potter, where I help children make clay pottery.
Since the year of 2001, I take photographs at different events in Hungary, and in 2003, I assisted an arts and crafts workshop organized by the Ciroka Puppet Theatre at the Sziget Festival in Budapest.
During the summer of 2006, I conducted a light performance on the surrounding walls of a small square during the "Magical Garden" Festival in Pecs. Also during this summer, I worked as a cultural events coordinator at the Association of Artists of Pecs-Baranya County, where my job was to organize an art exhibition in Komarno, Slovakia.
I tend not to separate work and play, because my work is also my hobby. Alongside all of this, I enjoy going to concerts and working together with musicians, doing performances and installations within the framework of different festivals. I regularly take part in the organization and realization of different festivals in Pecs. I am glad to help out with the realization of projects which bring people closer to music and the fine arts, especially when the audience becomes an active participant of the performance.
