Hi,
To all my friends in Russia and Rome. I will be playing some shows with the incredible  Eddie Jobson, keys/violinist (U.K., Frank Zappa, King Crimson, Roxy Music, Jethro Tull, Yes). I have always been a big fan of the U.K. recordings so I feel very happy and privileged to be able to play this material!
Eddie is a phenomenal composer as well as a first rate musician.
The band will include Greg Howe on guitar and my buddy Marco Minnemann on drums. Adrian Belew will also join us.
I hope you can make a show and say hello to us all as well, cheers, ric

HI,
Over the last 11 years I have recorded from my either my home studio or road studio for many artists throughout the world including the Guitar Hero Video Games. Some of these recording samples are in my playlist.

I have very high end gear and can get various vintage sounds as well.
It is actually very easy for you to get this started and it doesn't matter what music program you are using.

No matter where you live in the world, I can help you with your music. If you are interested email me for details,

I would love to make your CD or demos groove a lot harder and sound much more professional. cheers, ric

Hi,
I wrote a master class article for the June edition of "Bass Player Magazine". My good buddy, and fellow bassist Robby Pagliari, just informed me that it is now available at news stands. Check it out if you get a minute.

*** FYI, I also recorded an mp3 example for this "Bass Player Mag" article, showing you how to practice your improvising over example 2. I'm not sure if they will post it on their site so feel free to send me an email if you would like me to send the MP3 to you.

best regards, ric

Howdy,
This last year I was quite busy recording my basses for WAVEGROUP, WAVEGROUP produce the recordings for the video game "Guitar Hero".

I have been under contract not to discuss any of this work until this week with the great news that the songs are now available as downloads at itunes and other dig sites.

It was a lot of fun to revisit songs from my favorite rock groups and some new favs. Songs from Deep Purple, Rush, Oingo Boingo, Coheed and Cambria, The Knack and many, many other great bands. It was a challenge to transcribe and then try to record with the same exact bass sound etc. Playing my Rickenbackers again was a real pleasure as well.

Some Awards for these recordings include:

Best Soundtrack at the Spike TV Video Game Awards, Outstanding Achievement in Soundtrack from the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences, and Best Soundtrack at the BAFTA Games Awards.

If you want to check out the recordings go to itunes and give them a listen. Here is the official press release from this week. cheers, ric
