Hey Yall!

We want to say THANKS to EVERYONE of the 5000+ who came to the Cleveland Rock Hall Show. We also want to say we're VERY VERY VERY SORRY to the couple hundred people who stood in line FOREVER and didn't get to meet us. Security made us stop signing because the contract said when Lonestar started their show, we had to stop signing. If we could, we would have hung out ALL NIGHT!

THANKS YALL for rockin out ROCK HALL with us!!

Yee haw Yall!

Kenny Chesney's Next Big Star Is… Brother Trouble South Carolina Brothers Won Nashville, Then Took The Grand Prize

Nashville: When Kenny Chesney decided to reach back to young bands trying to get a foothold in country music on his 2008 Poets & Pirates Tour, he had no idea the quality of talent he was going to find - and with the final weekend of local competitions, it turned out the Grand Prize winner had relocated from South Carolina to Nashville to follow the plan of countless thousands of hopefuls.

"It's pretty amazing to see the quality of local bands out there," Chesney says of his summer's opening acts. "And the different kinds of country music being made, too. I'd say the future's in pretty good shape… and it was really hard deciding on that one grand prize winner, that's how good these Next Big Stars were."

But Brother Trouble, Jason and Mark Sutton, who've been playing around the Palmetto State since their teens, work a distinctly aggressive modern country that has hints of Southern rock, revved up acoustic instruments and the kind of vocals only brothers enjoy. Having won the July 3 Next Big Star at Nashville's Hard Rock Café, and performing at Nashville's LP Field for Chesney July 5 show, Brother Trouble now gets a check for $25,000, an opportunity to audition for BNA Records and - perhaps the best part of all - their own tour bus and the opening slot for the final weekend of the Corona Extra sponsored Poets & Pirates Tour.

"These guys were young, fresh, exciting," says Kate McMahon, Director of Tour Marketing for AEG-TMG. "It was thrilling not just to see how good the talent was across the country, but to see the reaction all these acts got in their hometowns. It's really hard getting the shot to open for big acts now - because there is so much packaging, but all these artists did an amazing job opening up the biggest party of the summer everywhere we went… But Brother Trouble just had a little something special. I think they're gonna have a great weekend out on the road with us."

With "Everybody Wants To Go Heaven" - from the Oct. 14th release Lucky Old Sun -- sitting at 6 on the country singles chart three weeks after add date, Chesney is gearing up to close down his touring year in fine fashion. With stops in Tulsa and St Louis en route to being the first official event in Indianapolis' Lucas Oil Stadium, home of the Indianapolis Colts, you can count on Chesney to make it one heckuva party.

"Every year, I don't think it can get any better, and every year, I am blown away by the fans," says the 4-consecutive and reigning Academy of Country Music and 3-time and current Country Music Association Entertainer of the Year. "And this year, having these local bands bring a little bit of each town onto our stage, it's made it even more like we're part of the places we play… To me, back when, I'd've given anything to open for some of my favorites, let alone go on tour with'em, so I think this is gonna be fun for all of us, seeing the road through their eyes."

So we arrive at LP Field, and at the Corona bus we get our passes and meal tickets from Brett, our tour manager for the day, and from the moment we got there he treated us like STARS!  He was wonderful to our guests and even hooked my parents up with floor seats when they would have been in the nose bleeds.

After that we headed to our dressing rooms and off to catering (YUM!!  No flat meat and sweaty cheese here baby! Only the best!!)  Around 3:10 we headed to the stage and stood on the side with some of our buddies from the Urban tour( got to see all his killer guitars!!)

Then the stage manager walked up and said, "Yall ready?".  Mark said, "Oh yeah!"  I said, "Nope!", puked,  then said," HELL YEAH!!" (just kidding 'bout the puking part).  The WKDF guys headed out and said,  "Ladies and gentlemen,  a little bit a rock, a little bit a country, but a whole lotta' left of center...... BROTHER TROUBLE!!!!"   And the party began!

Tons of faces I knew in the crowd, about 7000 that I didnt, and we all had a ball!!!!

After we came off stage, Brett tells us that  we get to go meet Kenny.  What a great guy!!!  The best part was when Chesney  met Jon McElroy!  Kenny was like, "No way!"  For those who dont know Jon has written a couple songs that Kenny recorded.

After that it we watched Sammy Hagar and Keith Urban tear it up.  Then we headed to the after party where we jammed the night away at the "Lime Light" club across from the stadium.

For me, other than the day I was married, it was my best day ever!!!

Love yall - Jason

Before and after the Kenny Chesney concert fans rocked along with music from Nashville's Next Big Stars -- Jason and Mark Sutton of Brother Trouble

The band kicked off the concert of the year at LP Field, then took the stage at Limelight for the Official After Party for Kenny Chesney's Poets and Pirates Tour, where they showed off what's brought them this far....a high-energy, slammin' country style that left the crowd wanting more.

Brother Trouble was chosen out of hundreds of hopefuls who dreamed about warming up the crowd for a superstar -- and their dream came true this past Saturday night as they took the stage to open for Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban, LeAnn Rimes, Gary Allen (and even Sammy Hagar) at Nashville's LP Field.

103 WKDF spent the last two months at Billy Block's Locals Only searching for an opening act for the July 5th show Kenny Chesney Tour stop in Music City. 103 WKDF became the first Nashville radio station to feature Brother Trouble on the air, prior to their debut on CMT's "Can You Duet?". Since that time they've moved to middle Tennessee to showcase their tunes locally and abroad.

Find Out Who Will Be The Next Big StarBrother Trouble joined The Roys, Jeremiah Ritchey and RiverBilly as finalists and they now move on to the national competition, where they could win $25,000 and the opportunity to continue touring this year with Kenny Chesney
.

But the competition isn't just about the bands. Music fans can catch the stars of tomorrow live each night at the Hard Rock on Broadway

From their first gig as teenagers in Pawly's Island, South Carolina to the opening act for the concert of the year in Music City USA -- Brother Trouble -- congratulations from 103 WKDF, the Music City's home for Country's Latest, Greatest and Soon-To-Be's.

I love this Mayberry life I live

Where is great to get, but much better to give

Its always the right place at the right time

The sun always shines and the moon stays bright

and everything is okay...

And you'll know when its real

cause you'll feel... the way I feel

... and by the way, the secret to life

is to live while you live, and die before you die

Yeah, its always the right place at the right time,

the best part of your life is right now..

So let your cares fade away...........
