So just on the quiet - mere hours ago I paid the $10.80 to courier a DVD of 5 million music files to an address in Wellington.

All going well, Mr Disasteradio will receive the evil package intact-o and crack into mixing it all up into a retrotastic spew bag of deadly action - in other words:

Kittyhawk's "1985" mixed and mastered by Disasteradio.

You may have seen the 1985 video already on our site - but it has a demo mix on it.

Once D-Rad has finished - the new improved 1985 will be released like a freakin plague!!!

The release will be co-ordinated by Benjii of Muzai records and Alex Manfred benefit concert fame.

Keep your ear to the ground cos there are more things in the wind for krackhawks

A-ha...

Camp Krackhawks has been quiet of late - winter hibernation ya know.

So what the fucks goin on?

Well, Ive been lucky enough to fill in for Cosmic Rays of Death temporarily on Bass - radtastic basslines and sounds.

Am currently on my second stint of shooting for the show 'Rural Drift' in Horeke (the far north / Hokianga Habour). Its my TVNZ directing debut and so far it's been eventfull, with doing donuts on horses, bon fires and peacock curses - it's pretty mental up here - just how I like it though.

Back to the Khawk - well reckon there's a gig in early ..hat might be a go go, so if yer keen come check it out, otherwise stay home and cry-wank about it.

Hey everyone,

Man was CAMP A LOW HUM the be all and end all of fun? Fuck yeh!

Sorry we couln't play our second show. We are all crying like whipped puppies.

Thanks for those who turned up anyway and for your support for John.

John is currently in recuperation and fingers xssed for his speedy recovery!

Also for anyone who brought a CD at CAMP - thanks heaps. If there was a CD missing in the case, our apologies - contact us and we will send you a replacement.

We are switching all CD packing operations from Monkeys to Sausage Dogs, in a hope to solve the problem.

The sad news is, we wont be playing the shows we had booked in the near future, so our apologies to all involved - it's out of our hands.

Good news is we will soon be posting a vid from our supporting slot with the Mint Chicks from Xmas last year! Keep a look out yáll.

You can also expect new tunes at our gigs too.

Sweet.

Kittyhawk will be making it's first real deal official bollix release.

It's a Double Single featuring the latest mixes from Murray Fisher (Goodshirt / Voom / Sidekick Nick) of the tunes - Disco Peril and Big Stick.

This release will also feature a Remix from the laser fingers of DJ Timmy Shumacher.

Not only that, but there is also a New Music Video for Disco Peril coming right at ya!

We will be doing a mini North Island tour to come to yer town and bust some backspins and break some balls.

It'll be our 1st time in Wellingtron and its been along time since we hit Hamiltron or AK City - so come get yer fix!
