We are recording again. Will it ever end? Perhaps. Actually I'm enjoying myself, getting some fresh tracks down. At the moment, we're going for a live, simple, sparse sort of vibe, to balance against some of the more densely arranged songs we've already recorded for the album. So we'll end up with around 19-20 finished songs to choose from. It won't be easy. Anyway, another month in the studio, and we'll finally have that holy grail of the meeky rosie adventure: a... finished... album...(!). A single CD to hold in our hands, to gaze at with wonder in our eyes, and, finally, to share with the world. And then... who knows? Watch this space.

Sorry, its been a while.
We have been recording yet another new song (be great to get some of these tracks released one day wouldn't it!). It is sounding lovely. Called 'Just the Same' it is full of melodies and loud bits that bounce along to the end.
Whilst recording we have also played a couple of splendid gigs. Firstly at the Birmingham barfly with the impressive Boxer Rebellion. A bit of a bogey venue for me (never have much luck with my on stage sound there). Our last gig was our first gig in cardiff (barfly) and was a highly emotional and energetic performance. I wanted to smash things! Alas my sensible side took over.
Have a great 2007.
Take care,
Tim

Hello all,
Finally got to play the Cavern in Exeter. Was a real buzz. Wanna hopefully play there again and again. Talking of the Cavern we've been in Liverpool for the last couple of days, tweaking songs. Yes I know! Don't worry we will finish one day. Apparently the Cavern is'nt the original Cavern (now a car park!), so I did'nt waste my time going to have a look. Anyway did'nt see much of Liverpool, apart from a noodle bar up the road. Interesting hey? Oh I did see Mr. Ian Broudie. He no longer looks like Clayton.
Bye, Tim

Was so bloody nervous befor playing the Exeter Cavern last night. Hometown gigs I suppose. Luckily it was the first in a while where we had no major technical disasters, and as always it was good to see the friendly faces. Thanks to those who came to see us, and bought a CD. Wish us luk with our headline in Bristol tonight! Cheers, Stephen

The day we drove from Manchester to London was, for me, the first day of the end of the year. A whole day that felt like a morning. Sheer, pure, morning light. Despite the stealthy crawl of the dark , I like this time. Always feel more free and creative.
Anyway, we are all getting ready for the weekend gigs. Should hopefully have some brand new CDs, and T-shirts to pass to the faithful few. Really looking forward to going back to Manchester.

Our first night in Manchester was fantastic! Really enjoyed the gig. Not sure if any of us have ever gone for it that much. And we met some really nice people to. Can't wait for In The City. We love Manchester!!!
Yesterday at The Purple Turtle was a struggle. Keyboards cutting out, monitoring cutting out, a sparse crowd. But....yet again we enjoyed it.
Bring on the weekend!!! Stephen

When we ran under emerald carpets, grazing our knees and shattering our fears, care was for those in need of consolation. Maybe we all need consolation now. Maybe we've all grown up. Sometimes on stage it starts to feel like the young days. I hope they're not all hopeless myths. I know they are though.

Tomorrow we are playing in Manchester, the next day we are playing in London.
