The Bison Alumni Connection (B.A.C.) is a free networking group for alumni of Howard University.

The group was established after attending a homecoming weekend and not seeing a large/official grouping of alumni. We are in no way trying to imply anything about the Howard University Steering Committee or the Alumni Association. Honestly we would like to work with these groups. We are simply trying to fill a void in what we have seen as a continuous void of activities and/or events planned for and attended by alumni. The groups activities will be climaxed during homecoming weekend with an "Official" alumni event, select seating at the homecoming game and a booth/tent on the yard homecoming weekend for alumni to re-connect and receive information about the week's events.

The group was also concerned about the over commercialized aspect of Howard's Homecoming. For Alumni coming into town for the weekend you can expect to pay close to $1000.00. Many events have extreme covers that range from $60 - $150 with no proceeds or benefits to the university. The B.A.C. would like to give part of the proceeds from our events back to the university and as an incentive to the schools and alumni classes; the school and/or alumni group with the most attendees get an extra imbursement from the proceeds.
