FAGGOT Live at ABC No Rio April 18 2009 On Tour

Wow!  We have a LP being put out by famed West Coast Awesomest person, Amy Lawless, and we'll also have a DVD (with a CD version of the LP combined) released on TROMA this summer and We're doing the sweetest tour ever going south to warm up from Minneapolis on April 2 and then cutting over through to the East Coast and playing NYC and having way more fun than we can imagine.  There's also like Chatanooga, Cleveland (Lakewood),Chicago, and a lot more towns (keep up with our "upcoming shows" feature on our main page). It's great to have our LP done and a terrific video done and a tour to perform it all coming up so soon. To make it all even more awesome, Reverend Leyba did our Cover Art and Michael Gaughn did our back cover art and Saira made the coolest insert/record sleeve collage I have ever seen. Yeah! Hell yeah and every dancer who ever danced with us better hook up for at least one show on tour or else. That said, our best dancers are all also having their own tremendous successes.
In particular, Jaime (aka Spicarela) Carrera has like three major shows and art exhibitions alone coming up over the next three-four months. Zoe has been making the singularly most outrageous and awesome earings out of beer cans ever seen as well as having just recorded most of her own upcoming and soon to be totally famous LP with the now already famous song: "Tinky in the Toilly".  Tab is meeting us up on tour to blast it out as well as Ross and hopefully Brian and Janelle and Loren and Paige and on and on.....

The music video shoot over the weekend of July 20 with famed Troma director, Lloyd Kaufman and his creative crew was an event that I am certain anyone in attendance will never quite forget. 12-16 of us stayed covered in fake blood, chocalate pudding, cottage cheese, mustard, nuts and some fluids that no one was exactly able to identify for over 7 hours. That was just the first part. Then several of us retired to a more "closed set" to shoot the famed "Hotel Room/In Hollywood" scene. The video is for the song "The Cleaner" and was shot on over a case of Super 8 color film and also digital video. The result should come out in Fall and we're all looking forward to see what comes out of the shoot. Stay tuned.
