It's April 10th, 2008 and I'm currently in Santa Rosa, CA. which is where I was born and raised for the first 8 years of my life. I've been here now for the last 5 or 6 days and I'd forgotton how beautiful this place is! I can see now why Alfred Hitchcock decided to make movies here. Harmonica player and blues legend Charlie Musselwhite lives in this area. Tom Waites also lives in this town. Kim Wilson's brother Brad Wilson, who is also a vocalist and harmonica player, also resides here. Many famous people haved lived here throughout the years. Why? Well, for starters it's surrounded by beautiful green, rollings mountains, like Taylor mountain. There are so many world class wineries and vinyards here you can't even count 'em! Have I mentiioned the women here? Guess what.... they're beautiful too! Coming back here for the first time in 23 years has made me realize how special Santa Rosa is. It's my roots. I've seen several friends that still remain here and they've all treated my father and I like gold. So I for one will always love this place. Santa Rosa, CA. is a great place to see, visit, live, or in my case possibly retire to. If you're ever traveling through this area, be sure visit Santa Rosa. You won't rerget it!
