Music vibrations were present from childhood and although being influenced by various styles, reggae was the destiny of Álvaro Olivares AKA Rebel-I.....

Rebel-I is a multi-talented artist, singer, singjay, songwriter and compositor from Lima, Peru. He has had an active participation in the Peruvian reggae scene since 2003 having a significant participation as singer and writer in bands like Mulla wisA. In 2006, Rebel-I left his country and moved to Argentina and he started singing and writing in a band called “Uniendo Raices” until November 2007.....

This important artist made a great album debut in 2006: "Inna Riddim Style", it was recorded in Buenos Aires, Argentina. This album counted with the participation of some performers from Colombia, Panama and Virgin Island. In this album we’ll be able to find a modern sound and a universal message of peace, love and unity.....

Rebel-I is one of the young latin reggae artists with good presence in many parts of de world, his new singles, with some good producers like ReyJah B (Spain), Russcuttaz (Jamaica), David Ghetto & Chop Chop Music (France & Jamaica), are proof of this.....

Also a charter member of Sold-Jah Crew, a group of latin reggae performers that counts with the participation of Jimmy Luv (Brasil), Jah Fabio (México) & Joce Polo (Panamá) among others. This crew was created to send a good message in its music and fight against the musical violence in the reggae scene.....

His new album will be released on October of 2010 and it will be produced by David Ghetto & Chop Chop Production, ReyJah B and more. The single of this new production is “No más violencia”, produced by ReyJah B. It talks about the reality in our time, a violent world ruled by guns and money and where love and hope are being lost. ....

Rebel-I es un multitalentoso cantante, singjay, DJ, escritor y compositor de Lima, Perú, que desde comienzos del 2003 ha tenido una participación activa en la escena de reggae peruano, integrando las bandas Madre Nativa y Mulla wisA, en la cuales se desempeñaba como cantante y compositor.

En el 2006 Rebel-I decide dejar su país y radicarse en Argentina, donde comienza su carrera de solista, así mismo integro la banda Uniendo Raíces en la que se desempeño como vocal y compositor, hasta Noviembre de 2007.

Este importante artista presento su primer álbum debut en el 2006 titulado "Inna Riddim Style"; grabado en Buenos Aires, Argentina, en el estudio Tónica, bajo el mando de Fernando Pérez Cortes conocido ingeniero de sonido de bandas como Riddim y Mensajeros Reggae. Este álbum contó con la participación de artistas de Colombia, Panamá y St. Croix. Inna Riddim Style es un disco que nos hace fluir entre los distintos estilos que el reggae moderno propone, y nos presenta un mensaje universal de paz, amor y unidad.

En la actualidad Rebel-I es uno de los jóvenes artistas de reggae latinoamericanos con buena presencia en distintas escenas de reggae mundial, los diferentes singles con casas productoras de distintos países son muestra de esto como la coproducción del tema Live Your Life de KIM Music de Nueva York, Only You de Russcuttaz Production de Jamaica, la cual, cuenta tambien con la participación de artistas como Norrisman & Mark Wonder o el single In Di Giddeon acompañado por Jimmy Luv de Brasil, producido por David Ghetto & Chop Chop Production, riddim en el cual participaran los integrantes del Judgement Crew de Jamaica.

Miembro fundador del Sold-Jah Crew. Crew latino que cuenta con integrantes de la talla de Jimmy Luv de Brasil, Joce  Polo de Panamá, Jah Fabio de México entre otros, el cual cuenta con distintos artistas de todo Latinoamérica y el apoyo de productoras europeas como ReyJahB de España & David Ghetto de Francia. Este crew se formo con el fin de mandar un mensaje positivo y anti-violencia en la música reggae.

Su nuevo álbum se estima para mediados del 2010  y contara con producciones de David Ghetto de Francia, ReyJahb de España entre otros. Entre los singles para promocionar este nuevo material se encuentra No más violencia tema el cual nos hablan acerca de la realidad que nos toca vivir, una realidad en la que el arma y la violencia son pan de cada día y el amor y la esperanza se va perdiendo.
