.. Ventura Delivers Some 9/11 Truth On Larry King Live "Why is it off limits to question and ask questions?" Steve Watson, Infowars.netTuesday, Dec 1, 2009 Former Governor of Minnesota, ex-Navy SEAL and retired pro-wrestler Jesse Ventura raised some important unanswered questions regarding the 9/11 attacks in an interview with Larry King on CNN last night. Ventura spoke about and gave a sneak peak of his new Tru TV show, Conspiracy Theory, set to air Wednesday night. Footage from the 9/11 based episode showed Ventura attempting to gain access to the infamous hanger 17 at Kennedy International Airport where debris from the World Trade Center is kept away from public scrutiny. "The 9/11 conspiracy is simply that the government hasn't been truthful with us." Ventura stated. "I mean, Larry, a couple weeks ago, the head of the 9/11 Commission legal, I believe former attorney general Farmer from New Jersey, came out publicly and stated unequivocally that at some point the government decided that the American citizens would not hear the truth about 9/11. I find that very disturbing." he continued. "I find it very difficult that those buildings could fall at the speed of gravity without being assisted in some way. And I used to do demolition for a living. And how could those buildings fall as fast as I used to freefall out of an airplane?" "If you took a billiard ball and dropped it the height of the twin towers and you just merely stopped it and started it every floor in freefall, it would take over a minute and a half to reach the ground. The buildings were down in ten seconds." "So you think there was something on the inside." King replied. "Here is the big point I make on 9/11," Ventura asserted. "Why is it off limits to talk about it? Why is it off limits to question and ask questions? You know when I went through Navy SEAL training I was taught in demolition that there is no dumb question, that if you don't understand it then it is not dumb. That's how I have lived my life and I have a lot of questions that the government refuses to answer." King also asked Ventura his opinion on the troop escalation in Afghanistan:
"It angers me because it reminds me a great deal of Vietnam." Ventura answered. "I mean, the Russians couldn't beat them, the English couldn't beat them over there. You are not going to get a military solution in my opinion in Afghanistan. It's impossible, yet we're just like in Vietnam, are we propping up a phony government, like we did in Vietnam?" "Remember, the United States blocked free elections in Vietnam. Had there been elections in Vietnam, Ho Chi Min would have won in a landslide. Well is this the same thing going on?" "I would pull out of Afghanistan and I would pull out of Iraq and I would bring our boys home. It is our job to protect their safety, and not be sending them off to wars. What are we accomplishing there? I look at it from a personal point of view. I don't see how these two wars have helped Jesse Ventura or the USA one bit, other than to drain our economy." Ventura fumed.

Paul Joseph Watson Prison Planet.comWednesday, December 2, 2009 Outrage surrounding the climategate scandal is increasing as desperate apologists for the crooks caught manipulating data to “hide the decline” in global warming attempt to distance themselves from the perpetrators, burning a few scientists to save the larger carbon tax gravy train in a cynical damage limitation exercise.
The potential for the climategate scandal to derail the gargantuan agenda to exploit fraudulent fearmongering about global warming in order to ram through a new carbon tax is growing after the ringleader of the scam, Phil Jones, the head of the Climactic Research Unit at the University of East Anglia, temporarily stepped down pending an investigation.
In addition, Michael Mann, a professor in the meteorology department at Penn State University, whose emails were included in the climategate leak, is also the subject of an investigation into his work.
The UK Met office was also forced to go on the offensive and issue a statement which highlighted the 2007 IPCC report as evidence that their data was solid, despite the fact that the very scientists involved in the climategate scandal engaged in intimidation tactics and academic witch hunts to ensure data which they politically disagreed with was blocked from appearing in the IPCC report, as well as manipulating data that appeared in the IPCC report to “hide the decline” in global warming.
The subject will also be aired in a hearing today convened by the U.S. Congress’s select committee on global warming. Warmist advocates are set to testify but they will undoubtedly be grilled by skeptics, so expect sparks to fly.
Meanwhile, warmists like Lord Stern are admitting that climategate could jeopardize a deal at Copenhagen on CO2 emissions that was already in doubt before the scandal broke. The climategate apologists seem to have settled on two approaches in dealing with the crisis that the scandal represents. On the one hand, a majority have simply sought to downplay the whole issue as if the fact that the very scientists who produced the foundational data for the contention that global warming is man-made were caught manipulating the evidence is no big deal. This has largely backfired, with even the usually obedient establishment media acknowledging that the story has huge consequences.
For example, a CBS News report today concedes that, “The leaked files show that prominent scientists were so wedded to theories of man-made global warming that they ridiculed dissenters who asked for copies of their data, plotted how to keep researchers who reached different conclusions from publishing, and concealed apparently buggy computer code from being disclosed under the Freedom of Information law.” This accurate description is a far cry from how the apologists have tried to frame the whole issue as mere “rancor” between scientists. In addition, citing the notion that the emails were obtained illegally by a hacker in an attempt to somehow absolve the scientists of any suspicion has also evaporated as a defense, since it is now widely accepted that the data was not hacked, but rather leaked from the inside.
A new tactic on behalf of warmists is to accept that Jones, Mann et al are guilty of malfeasance but then glibly claim that the debate is still over on global warming.
Fellow warmists are distancing themselves from the climategate crooks in an apparent effort to burn just a handful of scientists, thereby using damage limitation to prevent the scandal from curtailing the wider global warming agenda. Declan McCullagh summarizes how global warming advocates are busy trying to extricate the climategate crooks from the UN IPCC agenda, despite the fact that they produced the data that the IPCC used in its 2007 report. “Some mainstream academics working in the area have distanced themselves from Mann, Jones, and other researchers whose correspondence has drawn allegations of impropriety. Aynsley Kellow, a professor at the University of Tasmania who was an expert reviewer for a U.N. global warming report, told ABC Radio there was evidence of a “willingness to manipulate raw data to suit predetermined results, you’ve got a resistance to any notion of transparency, an active resistance to freedom of information requests or quite reasonable requests from scientists to have a look at data so that it can be verified.” “Hans von Storch, director of the Director of Institute for Coastal Research who was assailed by Mann in one e-mail message, calls the CRU axis a “cartel” and suggests that Jones and others avoid reviewing papers. A colleague, Eduardo Zorita, went further and said Mann and his allies “should be barred” from future United Nations proceedings and warned that “the scientific debate has been in many instances hijacked to advance other agendas.”
Watch out for a biased investigation to amount to nothing more than a slap on the wrists for people like Jones and Mann, while still refusing to acknowledge that “consensus” presumptions about global warming have been challenged as a result of climategate. Since the investigation into Jones and the CRU will likely be conducted by Lord Rees of the Royal Society, who is a staunch warmist, it will undoubtedly be a complete whitewash. Indeed, a source cited by the Telegraph’s James Delingpole says that the British government and the foreign office has already made it clear to the University of East Anglia and Rees that they will need to “keep a lid on everything lest it destabilises Copenhagen.”
This is precisely why we need to keep the pressure up and never let climategate slip away quietly by allowing the establishment to exonerate the crooks involved and the true significance of the whole issue.
A major new salvo has arrived in the form of Lord Monckton’s comprehensive report on climategate, which needs to go viral in the days before next week’s Copenhagen summit at which elitists will attempt to push through binding agreements on CO2 emissions that will bankrupt economies and lead to more poverty and devastation that any warming of the earth, be it natural or man-made, could ever accomplish.

The combined company will operate under a new name: PositiveID. The all-stock transaction will leave PositiveID in charge of a burgeoning empire of identity, health and microchip implant businesses that will only encourage its critics. BNET previously noted that some regard the company as part of a prophecy in the Book of Revelation (because the HealthLink chip carries an RFID number that can be used as both money and proof of ID) or as part of President Obama’s secret Nazi plan to enslave America. The most obvious criticism to be made of the deal is that it potentially allows PositiveID to link or cross-check patient health records (from the HealthLink chip) to people’s credit scores. One assumes that the company will put up firewalls to prevent that. PositiveID CEO Scott Silverman said: “PositiveID will be the first company of its kind to combine a successful identity security business with one of the world’s first personal health records through our Health Link business. PositiveID will address some of the most important issues affecting our society today with our identification tools and technologies for consumers and businesses.” Unless, of course, consumers don’t actually want to be implanted with chips, have their health records available over the internet, or have their medical records linked to their credit scores.

What is a weed? A plant whose virtues have not been discovered...".. .. -Ralph Waldo Emerson
The Story of

"Make the most you can of the Indian hemp seed and sow it everywhere" is a statement that George Washington made ("Facts" 13). Who would believe that George Washington asked farmers everywhere to grow marijuana? Who would believe that George Washington grew it? The amazing facts about marijuana beginning with its earliest use and the current laws convicting people of growing marijuana are quite opposites with most governments banning the use of marijuana.
The use of marijuana actually dates back to 2737 B.C. Early in history marijuana was used as a way to achieve euphoria. "...it was described in a Chinese medical compendium traditionally considered to date back from 2737 B.C." ("Marijuana Information"). Shen Nung, a Chinese emperor, wrote about the use of marijuana and recommended it for use for rheumatism, gout, and malaria. It might be surprising to learn that Muslims used it because alcohol was banned by the Koran.
The use of marijuana was legal until the 1930s. "For the first 162 years of America's existence, marijuana was totally legal and hemp was a common crop" ("Marijuana and Hemp"). Many politicians such as George Washington had hemp crops. The earliest dates of marijuana use in the New World were in 1545 by the Spanish (Marijuana Information). The next mention of marijuana use in the colonies was in Jamestown. In fact, it was considered an important crop similar to the tobacco crops. Cotton replaced hemp crops, but different medication had hemp in them. During the early days of the colonies marijuana was not illegal and it had various purposes that even George Washington used. While many people struggle because they need to use marijuana for medical purposes today, marijuana could be found in the United States Pharmacopeia from 1850 until 1942. The use of marijuana was for labor pains, nausea, and rheumatism" ("Marijuana Information"). Is it any surprise that people today want to use marijuana for pain relief for patients suffering with AIDS, rheumatism, and other diseases? Today, if people use marijuana for pain they may find themselves behind bars.
When it came to early colonists they considered a hemp crop valuable. Different colonists had hemp crop and it was considered totally legal during this time. "Hemp was an important crop for the early colonists as early as 1629 and remained so until Eli Whitney introduced the cotton gin" ("History"). Why was it so valuable back then? Because there were so many different uses for a hemp crop.
The cannabis plant has had many uses. It may be surprising to learn that the cannabis plant has a number of "good" uses. "On an annual basis, 1 acre of hemp will produce as much fiber as 2 to 3 acres of cotton" ("Hemp: The World's"). This fiber is stronger than cotton and actually lasts twice as long. Surprisingly, clothes such as shirts and pants could be made from this plant. Hemp can be grown in every state in the United States. "Cotton requires large quantities of pesticides and herbicides - 50% of the world's pesticides/..herbicides are used on cotton" ("Hemp: The World's").
Most people know that making paper takes a lot of trees which hurts the environment, yet 1 acre of hemp can make as much paper as 2 to 4 acres of trees ("Hemp: The World's"). If hemp was used instead of paper, imagine the number of trees that could be saved. In fact, paper made from hemp is actually better paper. Facts about paper made from hemp is that it will last longer, take less toxic chemicals to make, and can be recycled.
Another important material used in the United States and other countries is fiberboard. Hemp can be used to make it and actually lasts longer as well as being fire retardant. "Substituting hemp fiberboard for timber would further reduce the need to cut down trees" ("Hemp: The World's"). Why do manufacturers not use hemp? The answer is that it is illegal to grow it.
Another important use of hemp can be found in its seeds. These seeds have more protein than soybean protein and are not intoxicating. "Hemp seed protein can be used to produce virtually any product made from soybean: tofu, veggie burgers, butter, cheese, salad oils, ice cream, milk, etc." ("Hemp: The World's"). Another product that can be made from hemp seeds is flour. Hemp flower can be used to make baked goods.
Hemp seed oil has important uses such as making non-toxic diesel fuel, pain, detergent, ink, and other products. "Because hemp seeds account for up to half the weight of a mature hemp plant, hemp seed is a viable source for these products" ("Hemp: The World's").
Marijuana can even be used to make fuel. "Marijuana can even be used as 'Biomass' fuel, where the pulp (hurd) of the hemp plant can be burned as it or processed into charcoal, methanol, methane, or gasoline" ("Politics"). In fact, when hemp is turned into methanol it makes a great gasoline used in professional automobile races.
Considering all the products that can be made from Hemp, it would seem that farmers would grow lots of hemp. Yet, anyone growing hemp is arrested for it. At one time growing hemp was not illegal. "From 1776 to 1937, hemp was a major American crop and textiles made from hemp were common" ("Hemp: The World's"). However, few history books mention the growth of hemp and its products. Few history books say that George Washington grew hemp. "United States Presidents George Washington and Thomas Jefferson grew hemp, used products made from hemp, and praised the hemp plant in some of their writings" ("Hemp: The World's"). Today, these presidents would be arrested and put in prison for growing it. His advice, "Make the most you can of the Indian hemp seed and sow it everywhere," would get everyone doing this sent to prison.
It was in the 1930s that the government began stating that marijuana use was harmful and should not be used. In the 1930s by the U.S. Federal Bureau of Narcotics (now the Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs) sought to portray marijuana as a powerful, addicting substance that would lead users into narcotic addiction. ("Marijuana Information")
Laws regulating the use of marijuana began in 1937 with criminal penalties given to those using marijuana. Marijuana is only a small part of the cannabis plant. It is the dried leaves of the cannabis plant, but the hemp plant actually had many uses. Before the law passed in 1937, hemp was used as a synthetic fiber and in plastic industries ("Marijuana and Hemp"). Harry J. Anslinger an advocate for marijuana laws stated, "Marijuana is the most violence causing drug in the history of mankind.' 'Most marijuana users are Negroes, Hispanics, Filipinos and entertainers" ("Marijuana and Hemp"). More and more people wanted marijuana outlawed stating that it could hurt the minds of people. "As the Great Depression of the 1930s settled over America, the immigrants became an unwelcome minority linked with violence and with growing and smoking marijuana" (Musto). The good purposes of hemp were forgotten, as politicians focused on making marijuana illegal. Politicians wanted marijuana to be illegal so they told only parts of stories about the cannabis plant and did not let anyone know about the uses of the plant. "Western states pressured the federal government to control marijuana use" (Musto). The first law in 1937 was followed by other laws including the Comprehensive Drug Abuse Act of 1970, "marijuana was legally controlled through a transfer tax for which no stamps or licenses were available to private citizens" (Musto). Most people in the early days used Marijuana for a number of purposes, but few people actually smoked marijuana until the 1960s. The government focused on "smoking of marijuana" while forgetting about the other uses of marijuana. It focused on crime and problems with marijuana. "In 1972, the Presidential Commission on Marijuana and Drug Abuse recommended '..decriminalizati..on' of marijuana, that is, legal possession of a small amount for personal use" (Musto). At that time it was legal to have under an ounce of marijuana. Today, many people continue to believe that it should be legal to have under an ounce of marijuana for personal use or medical use. "In 1980, 53 percent of Americans favored legalization of small amounts of marijuana..." (Musto).
Two major strategies against marijuana were silence and exaggeration. In fact, most people today are not aware of the "good" uses of hemp. Few people have heard that Thomas Jefferson had a hemp crop. Most of publications about marijuana focus on the negative factors.
In addition to stricter penalties, two other strategies, silence and exaggeration were implemented in the 1930s to keep drug use low and prevent a recurrence of the decades-long, frustrating and fearful anti-drug battle of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. (Musto)
Keeping quiet about the good purposes of hemp and focused on the negative uses have made many Americans believe that hemp is all bad with few benefits of it.
The argument over medicinal uses of marijuana has been argued for many years. It is important to realize the earliest used of marijuana was for medical purposes for rheumatism, gout, and other illness. The cannabis plant was legal until 1937 with many people using the hemp plant for different purposes. One of these purposes was as a medication. Today many people wish to use marijuana for medical purposes, but if they are arrested they can serve prison time. What different types of use were marijuana used: multiple sclerosis, cancer treatment, AIDS (and AIDS treatment), glaucoma, depression, epilepsy, migraine headaches, asthma, pruritis, sclerodoma, severe pain, and dystonia. Studies of the marijuana plant shows that it had a variety of different uses and was considered valuable with George Washington putting his seal of approval on it. Today, marijuana continues to be used for different medical purposes with the seal of approval by different physicians, but users can be put in prison for having an ounce of marijuana. Research shows there are over 60 chemicals in the Hemp plant that can be used for medical purposes. It can even be used as a disinfectant. Dissolve marijuana into alcohol and this can be used for skin disease such as herpes. During the early 1900s the cannabis plant had many uses that are not recognized today.
Some basic facts about marijuana are:
"Marijuana arrests more than doubled in the U.S. during the 1990s" ("Facts"). In fact, there were more arrests for marijuana use than half of all the violent crimes that were committed.
"Blacks are arrested at twice the rate of whites for marijuana possession." Not only are African Americans arrested, but Hispanics are arrested more than "whites."
While the use of alcohol, tobacco, and legal drugs can be as harmful as marijuana they are not illegal. "Marijuana is also far less addictive and far less subject to abuse than many drugs now used as muscle relaxants, hypnotics, and analgesics" ("Brief History").
The law prohibits use of marijuana regardless of the purpose it is used and many Americans are arrested. "And still, last year we arrested some 700,000 Americans for resinous cannabis offenses, 90% for simple possession" ("Brief History"). The question is whether citizens of the United States want to spend valuable tax dollars on arresting people with less than an ounce of marijuana. Should people be arrested for using marijuana for medical purposes? "Instead of a profitable cannabis hemp economy, big corporations are stealing billions from regular people all over the world" ("Brief History"). Not only are people going to jail for small amounts of marijuana, many people who are seriously ill with disease such as AIDS or rheumatism are unable to use it to help with pain, nausea, or other use. "Over ten billion of our tax dollars were spent in our anti-marijuana education campaigns and on police and law enforcement in just the last year" ("Brief History"). The claims against marijuana have many people scared of those who use it even if it is for medical purposes.
Many states in the United States have wanted to legalize marijuana, but the federal government refuses to allow them to do so. Today, it costs the government billions of dollars to enforce the laws about marijuana. Yet, in the early 1800s physicians in the United States used hemp for different medical uses (.."..Marijuana—Recre..ational"). Many sick people using marijuana can be arrested and put in prison for its use. "More than 20 million Americans are current marijuana users" (.."..Marijuana-..-..Recreational"..). There are side effects of using marijuana, and one of the side effects is the feeling of being high, but muscle relaxants and pain medication have the same side effects. "High does can cause hallucinations,.. delusions, paranoia, and anxiety. Long-term users show a decreased interest in goals, decreased concentration, and making appropriate decisions and memory loss" (.."..Marijuana-..-..Recreational").
Marijuana dates back to the early history of mankind. Many different uses of hemp seed and hemp fiber have been used in the early history of the United States. Today, marijuana use is illegal even for medical purposes. Yet, President George Washington had a hemp crop. While different states are pushing to legalize marijuana especially for medical purposes should people be sent to prison for using marijuana for medical purposes?

Philadelphia AP Soaring numbers of Swine Flu cases in Philadelphia has caused city officials to declare a public health emergency.
Hospital emergency rooms have been inundated with steadily increasing cases of the H1N1 virus, according to officials. Visits have increased by 25 percent since this time last year – a new record. Officials are pleading with residents who have mild flu symptoms to stay away from emergency rooms. "Emergency rooms are for the very sick. If medical staff and hospital staff have to deal with non-emergency cases, this diverts resources away from where they are desperately needed,” Health Commissioner Dr. Donald Schwarz said in a statement Friday. LOOK @ THESE LIES IN THESE VIDEOS In addition to warning the public, the declaration serves as an administrative move that will allow hospitals to access additional services like volunteers and alternative spaces. Bed limits and stay requirements can also be waived. Symptoms of H1N1 mimic those of the regular flu. They include: •Fever greater than 100 degrees •Body aches •Coughing •Sore throat •Respiratory congestion

Fall Of The Republic documents how an offshore corporate cartel is bankrupting the US economy by design. Leaders are now declaring that world government has arrived and that the dollar will be replaced by a new global currency. President Obama has brazenly violated Article 1 Section 9 of the US Constitution by seating himself at the head of United Nations' Security Council, thus becoming the first US president to chair the world body. A scientific dictatorship is in its final stages of completion, and laws protecting basic human rights are being abolished worldwide; an iron curtain of high-tech tyranny is now descending over the planet. A worldwide regime controlled by an unelected corporate elite is implementing a planetary carbon tax system that will dominate all human activity and establish a system of neo-feudal slavery. The image makers have carefully packaged Obama as the world's savior; he is the Trojan Horse manufactured to pacify the people just long enough for the globalists to complete their master plan. This film reveals the architecture of the New World Order and what the power elite have in store for humanity. More importantly it communicates how We The People can retake control of our government, turn the criminal tide and bring the tyrants to justice. What can we do to avoid swine flu symptoms? (solutions) Adam asks me: I went to a friends house who had just gotten over swine flu a day or two before, I figure I've been exposed to it up close and personal. I have been searching around for precautionary steps, but haven't been having much luck. I figure you're pretty educated on this subject, so what should I do? My solution: Take alot of vitamin D3 I suggest 10,000 I.U. a day do 5,000 times 2 as well as vitamin C 4.000 mg 2,ooomg 2x I also recommend taking a high amino acid protien powder like whet or hemp protien with 2 tables spoons of raw wheat germ 2 x a day A very good multi vitamin( side note vitamin means vitalized mineral) I would highly recommend www.animalpak.com for this it is formulated for bodybuilders I believe they are the best Buy a brita or PUR faucet mount filter & use it often Other solutions include purell hand sanitized alcohol based Buy some high grade sea salt and something called a neti pot this is like a tea spout that you fill with seasalt and pour into nostrils to flush out sinus it works very well and does not upset your nose meaning no burning use warm filtered water for this Keep your mouth clean I keep a bottle of vodka handy at all times swish in mouth and swallow Excersize and try your best to eat as healthy as possible it is hard enough when you do everything you are supposed to do

Captain Mike Hilton may have been the public relations stooge decoy to focus people off Civilian Police, International. Civilian Police International (CPI) is a joint venture between MPRI, AGS, Wackenhut and Kellogg Brown and Root that "was created specifically to bring new discipline, new efficiencies and new responsiveness to the [International Police Task Force] IPTF program."[1] The United Nations' International Police Task Force was established in 1995 to carry out programs of police assistance in Bosnia and Herzegovina. [2] CPI was formed in January 2004 to handle a contract to support the U.S. State Department in international law enforcement and criminal justice programs. [3] This initial contract was awarded in February of 2004 and was worth $1.6 billion. [4] Specifically, CPI recruits former, experienced law officials of a variety of sorts, and trains them for State Department funded training operations in cooperation with UN CIVPOL (Civilian Police) programs directed to recent and emerging police and security forces around the world. They have been active in Kosovo, Iraq and Afghanistan. CPI, along with DynCorp and Pacific Architects and Engineers / Homeland Security Corporation, recently received a contract from the State Department to fulfill the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs requirement to work with civilian police and law enforcement programs in support of international peacekeeping missions. They will be working with the Civilian Police and Rule of Law office to "recruit, select, train, equip, deploy and support the officers and experts" involved in CIVPOL programs in Iraq, Afghanistan, Kosovo, Haiti, Liberia, East Timor, Serbia & Montenegro and Sudan.

Russia Today May 1, 2009 With 16 deaths from swine flu confirmed worldwide, there’s a growing stir surrounding the H1N1 virus. American airport officials diverted a flight from Germany to Washington DC because a 53-year-old female passenger complained she might have symptoms of the deadly disease. Mexico has asked Chile to host two football club matches because of the swine flu outbreak. Greece – which has no confirmed cases – has indefinitely frozen exports of antiviral drugs to safeguard the country. Across the world more than eleven countries have confirmed cases of the infection, Denmark and Hong Kong being the latest. Mexico is preparing to shut down parts of its economy for five days to slow the spread of swine flu. So far 12 deaths in the country have been officially attributed to the virus. A d v e r t i s e m e n t
The number of cases of swine flu at the heart of the worldwide outbreak has risen to over 340, says Mexico’s health secretary. The World Health Organization has started referring to the virus as ‘influenza A’ following concerns from farmers that the term ‘Swine Flu’ may be misleading. The disease cannot be caused by eating pork, the organization says. One person has died in Texas, which is the only death outside Mexico so far. A state of Public Health emergency has been declared in the US. Across the world at least thirteen countries including Israel and Spain have confirmed cases of the infection. A ‘pilot vaccine’ is being developed under the supervision of the EU. However, some conspiracy theories that are spreading just as fast as the virus have already dismissed the hysteria over the virus as a malevolent plot orchestrated by pharmaceutical companies in order to cash in on people’s fear. One in particular believes that the strain has been purposely engineered so companies producing vaccines can cash in. In New York City many dismiss the media hysteria but are not as quick to debunk theories for the outbreak. People on Manhattan’s streets have shown their skepticism over the vaccination: “That’s the whole medical industry. I don’t get the flu shot, ‘cause it seems whenever I get the flu shot I get sick. If I don’t get the flu shot, I don’t get the flu. Are there swine in New York City? Sure – the politicians,” says a New York resident.

http://uruknet.info/?p=m53635&hd=&size=1&l=e Rule of Law Vetoed by President Obama Joel S. Hirschhorn
April 22, 2009 There are no headlines or pontificating pundits, but the real news that has become crystal clear to any but the most delusional and distracted Americans is that President Obama has no commitment to applying the rule of law where it counts. Certainly, not applying it to the large number of rich and powerful people that have violated our Constitution and plunged the nation into economic disaster. Again and again we hear the flimsy argument from Obama and his top advisors that he wants to look forward and not backward. This is tortured logic when it comes to delivering justice in a nation supposedly cherishing the rule of law. The fundamental logic of honoring and applying the rule of law fairly to absolutely everyone is that people who have broken the law in the past must be held accountable and placed into the justice system after they have misbehaved. In other words, there is no actionable rule of law other than by looking backward into past misdeeds. So how can rational and intelligent people follow the logic of Obama and still believe that he truly understands and honors the rule of law? It is not believable when Obama says he will honor the rule of law in the future. Why should we trust his rhetoric when he refuses to enforce the rule of law for past actions by some of the most powerful people in America? There is warranted and massive public disapproval of government as evidenced in the tea parties held across the nation last week. How can Americans respect government when it is so evident that the president stubbornly refuses to seek justice and punishment for those that have violated the public trust? Obama’s reluctance to seek justice for those that have damaged the nation undermines his credibility as an honest public servant. All of this has taken on new importance as official documents from the Bush administration totally support the view that the US tortured prisoners in violation of international and domestic laws. President George W. Bush lied to us. And even before the latest events there were surely incredible amounts of evidence that high Bush administration officials savaged our Constitution. The constitutional balance of powers among the three branches of government has become a fiction. What Americans have every right to see is a large number of former elected and appointed officials in the Bush administration as well as many in the financial sector being arrested, indicted and confronted with criminal trials. Americans want to see aggressive prosecution and punishment. They want and deserve revenge and retribution, considering the astounding pain and suffering the vast majority of Americans now experience. We have every right to see in the public limelight what the world saw after World War II when Nazi criminals were tried and punished on the world stage. This is not happening because Obama seems to have more allegiance to the plutocracy that brought him to the presidency than to the public that has seen thousands of Americans killed in the unjust war in Iraq and now see their families, friends and neighbors suffering loss of jobs, retirement nest eggs, financial security, personal health and homes. When any politician does not enforce the rule of law then I worry that he or she may fear having the rule of law applied to them. We have witnessed crimes against humanity. We want President Obama to show complete commitment to the rule of law so that the many lying, corrupt and criminal Americans from both the public and private sectors that have caused so much harm are punished. That includes Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld and many, many others in the Bush administration, including those that were supposed to regulate the financial sector. Obama and his underlings seem to say that doing this would be a distraction and a waste of time. Nuts! It is exactly what the nation needs to rebuild confidence in government and the justice system. On the positive side, there are some in Congress showing interest in prosecuting many culprits. But the White House may be exerting pressure behind the scenes to limit their actions. Applying the rule of law: If not now, then when? Yes, we can and should. Joel S. Hirschhorn has a new book, Delusional Democracy: Fixing the Republic Without Overthrowing the Government, which supports constitutional conventions and other peaceful ways to restore American democracy. Read other articles by Joel, or visit Joel's website.

Obama derangement syndromeApr 16th 2009 From The Economist print edition
The president is driving some people mad. That may be to his advantage in the short termIllustration by KAL BY MOST people’s standards Barack Obama has had an excellent week. He enjoyed a counter-Carter moment when navy commandos rescued an American hostage, leaving three kidnappers dead. He gave a measured speech on the economy. And, to cap it all, he gave his daughters a Portuguese water dog named “Bo”. What’s not to like? Plenty, according to some people. Mr Obama may be widely admired both at home and abroad. But there are millions of Americans who do not like the cut of his jib—and a few whose dislike boils over into white-hot hatred. The American Spectator, which came of age demonising the Clintons, has run an article on its website on Mr Obama entitled “Il Duce, Redux?” The internet crackles with comparisons between Mr Obama and various dictators (Hitler, Stalin and Mussolini) or assorted psychotics (Charles Manson and David Koresh). When Jonah Goldberg, a conservative pundit, praised Mr Obama over the dispatching of the Somali pirates, his e-mail inbox immediately overflowed, he said, with “snark and bile”. .. A recent Pew poll showed that public opinion about Mr Obama is sharply divided along party lines. Some 88% of Democrats approve of the job that he is doing compared with only 27% of Republicans. The approval gap between the two parties is actually bigger than it was for George Bush in April 2001. Bush loyalists, led by Karl Rove, have duly over-interpreted this poll in order to soften their former boss’s reputation as America’s most divisive president. Today’s Republican base is significantly smaller than the Democratic base was in 2001, so surviving Republicans are more likely to have hard-core views. But there are nevertheless enough people out there who dislike the president to constitute a significant force in political life. As The Economist went to press, the bestselling book in the United States was Mark Levin’s “Liberty and Tyranny”. Mr Levin frequently denounces Mr Obama on his radio show as an exponent of the second of those two qualities. The new sensation in the world of cable is Fox News’s Glenn Beck, who has already attracted 2.2m regular viewers since his show was launched in January. Mr Beck recently apologised to his viewers for saying that Mr Obama’s America is on the path to “socialism” when it is really on the march to fascism. Media Matters, a left-wing organisation that monitors the media, reports that, since the inauguration, “there have been over 3,000 references to socialism, fascism or communism” in describing the president. Rush Limbaugh claims that he has seen an uptick in his audience since he announced that he hopes that Mr Obama fails. He has no time for the idea that all Americans should wish their president well (“We are being told that we have to hope Obama succeeds, that we have to bend over, grab the ankles…because his father was black”). Mr Limbaugh is not the ankle-grabbing type. He has also added Robert Mugabe to the list of people to whom Mr Obama can be likened. Why are some people so angry? For all his emollient manner and talk of “post partisanship”, Mr Obama is just as much an embodiment of liberal America as Mr Bush was of conservative America—an Ivy League-educated lawyer who became a community organiser before launching a political career in one of America’s most cosmopolitan and corrupt big cities, Chicago. Mr Obama almost lost the Democratic nomination to Hillary Clinton because of his lack of rapport with white working-class voters. In the general election he did worse than Michael Dukakis in the Appalachian states of Kentucky and West Virginia. Tough times make for tougher talkThe economic crisis has transformed this cultural suspicion into a much more potent political force. It is true that Mr Obama’s solution to the recession—spending public money in order to stimulate demand and trying to prevent a run on the banks—is supported by most economists. Mr Bush would have done much the same thing. But it is nevertheless driving many Americans crazy. April 15th—the last day on which Americans can perform the melancholy duty of filing their tax returns—saw rallies (dubbed “tea parties” after the Boston one) in every state, 500 or so in all. The protesters, some of whom dressed in three-cornered hats and waved “Don’t tread on me” flags, repeated a litany of criticisms that has been mounting since Mr Obama won the election—that he is a big government socialist (or fascist) who wants to take people’s money away and crush their freedoms. It is hard to judge so early in the game what the rise of anti-Obama sentiment means for the Obama presidency. Bush-hatred eventually spread from a molten core of leftists to set the cultural tone of the country. But Obama-hatred could just as easily do the opposite and brand all conservatives as a bunch of Obama-hating cranks. What is clear is that the rapid replacement of Bush-hatred with Obama-hatred is not healthy for American politics, particularly given the president’s dual role as leader of his party and head of state. A majority of Republicans (56%) approved of Jimmy Carter’s job performance in late March 1977. A majority of Democrats (55%) approved of Richard Nixon’s job performance at a comparable point in his first term. But today polarisation is almost instant, thanks in part to the growing role of non-negotiable issues such as abortion in American politics, in part to the rise of a media industry based on outrage, and in part to a cycle of tit-for-tat demonisation. This is not only poisoning American political life. It is making it ever harder to solve problems that require cross-party collaboration such as reforming America’s health-care system or its pensions. Unfortunately, the Glenn Becks of this world are more than just a joke.

In many cases, individuals who wear fur try to justify their actions by claiming their coat was made from animals killed on a ranch, as opposed to animals that suffered for days in a steel jaw leghold trap (leghold trap). There is a misconception that ranch raised fur is "humane". Unfortunately, there is nothing humane about depriving these animals from their behavioral and physiological needs. Fur farming is nothing more than institutionalized torture. | http://www.mercyforanimals.org/fur_farms.asp
| Fur farms
| ..
So why is fur farming so wrong? It is important to know which species are raised and killed on fur farms. Of the 31 million animals killed on fur ranches each year, about twenty-six million are mink and 4.5 million are fox. In addition, 250,000 chinchillas, 150,000 sable, 100,000 fitch, 100,000 raccoon dogs (a separate species from the American raccoon), and a small number of lynx, bobcat, and nutria are fur farmed. The mink is a semi-aquatic predator native to North America. Mink are very solitary creatures who spend a substantial portion of their day swimming in the water. Mink are very inquisitive, and have a range of 2- ½ miles. This is an active species and does not adapt well to life in a cage. The mink raised on fur farms are genetically wild. Up until the 1930's, fur farmers were still adding wild mink into their breeding programs. Domestication takes thousands of years, and the constant influx of wild genes kept the process from truly getting underway for quite some time. ..
..
 |
|
On fur farms, mink are deprived that adequate space needed because they are kept in cages averaging 10" wide by 24" long. Sometimes the cages are a couple of inches wider, or a couple of inches shorter. Either way, this is not adequate space for any animal, much less one such as the mink. This sort of intensive confinement has severe psychological implications. Ranch mink engage in neurotic behavior. Many will move back and forth in the same repetitive motion for extended periods of time. This is called a stereotype pattern. | ....
Because mink are kept in such cramped conditions causing an increase in stress, many ranch mink develop stomach ulcers and enlarged adrenal glands. This is a sign of chronic stress. The fur industry conducted their own tests in hopes to prove that ranch mink are not stressed. In their studies, young mink are used before they can develop stomach ulcers. The results of these inaccurate tests are used to "prove" that intensive confinement does not affect the mink. It is understood how the public is misinformed about the truth on fur farms with the release of such deceptive tests. Tail biting is a form of self-mutilation that is common in captive mink populations. Self-mutilation is a hardship for fur farmers because it devalues the animal's fur pelt. Mink are killed after their winter coat reaches prime to cover many of the flaws in the fur. This is recognized as an unfortunate cost of conducting business. Large pens would reduce the amount of self-mutilation, but the additional space would increase overhead costs. It is more cost-effective for the industry to cram more animals into a smaller space, and deal with the occasional stress related death or self-mutilation This semi-aquatic animal does not get a chance to swim in water if born on a fur farm. The lack of exposure to swimming in water is believed to increase behavioral problems in ranch mink. In the summer time, a wild mink might take a dip in a pond to cool off. Denied that option, many ranch mink die from heat related diseases in the hot summer months. Some years, as many as 10% of a fur farms stock may die from heat related conditions. As fashion trends change, so does fur farming. Fur farmers utilize selective inbreeding to encourage the development of mutant color phases to meet the whims of fashion. This process led to the development of white, gray, mahogany, and shades of blue mink. This style of genetic manipulation does not only change the mink's hair color, but it creates physiological problems as well. For Example, the Hedlund white mink is a genetic mutant that was created on a fur farm. This mutated animal will lose her hearing at 30 days of age because of a genetic defect. The Royal Pastel mink often develops what farmers call a "screw neck" deformity. With this deformity, the mink will turn her head in an awkward motion repeatedly. The Blue Iris mink has a weakened immune system due to a deficiency of natural killer cells, and one strain of demi-mink has a stress syndrome. These unfortunate characteristics make life dreadful for these mink. This type of mutilation is non-existent in the wild, but very standard on fur farms. ..
..
Life for ranch-raised fox is not any more promising. Fox farms have very serious problem with cannibalism. Fox in cramped living conditions often resort to cannibalism as a result of a stressed induced environment. It is estimated that fox farmers will lose 20 % of their animals prematurely. Half of those deaths result from cannibalism. |
|
| ....
Animals on fur farms are not able to engage in their natural behavior. These animals are treated like machines and commodities rather than living creatures with emotions. The suffering and death stems for the simple purpose of creating a luxury garment that serves no practical purpose. It is unclear of how fur wearers can love and cherish one canine, such as their companion dog, while supporting the torture and death of another canine, the fox. ..
..
|
|
Fox farming is now banned in Holland and all of the fox farms must close by 2004. As of January 1st, 2000 fox farming will be illegal in Sweden. Austria does not have any fox farms as a result of animal friendly legislation, and the United Kingdom banned fur farming in December 2000 as well. This clearly indicates that there is a very serious concern for the welfare of animals in intensive confinement. Death for these animals is a horror story. The most common method used for killing foxes is anal electrocution. | ....
..
..
Mink are usually gassed or violently injected with poison. Many just have their necks broken or are asphixiated. An undercover investigation found that some minks are killed with weed killers, which can cause the animals to convulse for up to 10 minutes before death. |
| | ....
The chinchilla industry proudly admits that most chinchillas are killed by neck breaking or electrocution. Many chinchilla farmers hook one metal clamp to the ear, and another to her genitalia to implement the electrocution of this poor creature. The chinchilla is small, and it takes as many as 100 of them to die in order to make a single full-length fur coat. The fur trade calls this "humane". The truth about the fur industry will prevail despite any attempts to minimize the suffering and pain that occurs to animals. For more information on fur farms:

New book from man tasked by government to help investigate attacks unveils how “ official story is almost entirely untrue” Paul Joseph Watson Prison Planet.comTuesday, April 14, 2009 The senior counsel to the 9/11 Commission - John Farmer - says that the government agreed not to tell the truth about 9/11, echoing the assertions of fellow 9/11 Commission members who concluded that the Pentagon were engaged in deliberate deception about their response to the attack.
Farmer served as Senior Counsel to the 9/11 Commission (officially known as the National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States), and is also a former New Jersey Attorney General.
Farmer’s book about his experiences working for the Commission is entitled The Ground Truth: The Story Behind America’s Defense on 9/11, and is set to be released in September.
The book unveils how “the public had been seriously misled about what occurred during the morning of the attacks,” and Farmer himself states that “at some level of the government, at some point in time…there was an agreement not to tell the truth about what happened.”
Only the very naive would dispute that an agreement not to tell the truth is an agreement to lie. Farmer’s contention is that the government agreed to create a phony official version of events to cover-up the real story behind 9/11. (ARTICLE CONTINUES BELOW)

The publisher of the book, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, states that, “Farmer builds the inescapably convincing case that the official version not only is almost entirely untrue but serves to create a false impression of order and security.”
In August 2006, the Washington Post reported, “Some staff members and commissioners of the Sept. 11 panel concluded that the Pentagon’s initial story of how it reacted to the 2001 terrorist attacks may have been part of a deliberate effort to mislead the commission and the public rather than a reflection of the fog of events on that day, according to sources involved in the debate.”
The report revealed how the 10-member commission deeply suspected deception to the point where they considered referring the matter to the Justice Department for criminal investigation.
“We to this day don’t know why NORAD [the North American Aerospace Command] told us what they told us,” said Thomas H. Kean, the former New Jersey Republican governor who led the commission. “It was just so far from the truth. . . . It’s one of those loose ends that never got tied.”
 John Farmer
Farmer himself is quoted in the Post article, stating, “I was shocked at how different the truth was from the way it was described …. The [Norad air defense] tapes told a radically different story from what had been told to us and the public for two years…. This is not spin. This is not true.”
As we also reported in August 2006, released portions of NORAD tapes from 9/11, which were featured in a Vanity Fair article, do little to answer skeptic’s questions about the impotence of U.S. air defenses on 9/11 and if anything only increase focus on the incompatibility of the official version of events with what is actually known to have taken place on that day.
Make no mistake, Farmer is not saying that 9/11 was an inside job, however, Farmer’s testimony, along with that of his fellow 9/11 Commission members, conclusively demonstrates that, whatever really happened on 9/11, the official story as told to the public on the day and that which remains the authorities’ version of events today, is a lie - according to the very people who were tasked by the government to investigate it. This is a fact that no debunker or government apologist can ever legitimately deny.
