Hi...
I've posted 2 new songs.. "Just a Dreamer" & "New Colours"... both are rough demos, recorded in the home studio. Apologies for the drums - I've only loops from a pedal to work with at the minute!
It's been a while since I uploaded anything or updated the blog, due to a mix of laziness & not knowing that I could transfer files directly from my 8 track to the laptop.
Doh.
Anyhow, more on the way as soon as I get 'em mixed.

WOW!
What an absolutely cracking weekend! After last year I went with high expectations and I came back with with all of them fulfilled and more! Attention to detail was quite unbelievable. I thought the additional crowd numbers might have ruined it but instead it was just right - bar the slightly longer walk from the car to campsite. Usually one comes home a wrecked, grumpy old mess on the Monday after a festival but I've been in tip-top form since! The rain didnt spoil things too much and even the traffic coming back was ok - which is hard to imagine in Dublin!
Great buzz around the place. Really nice friendly crowd! The security were a complete pleasure to deal with. Great selection of quality food too! Not to mention all of the little gimmicks such as the Launderette - approx a 15ft x 15ft tent which was decorated like a launderette (or laundromat for any US readers) and DJ's pumping out great reggae! It was literally impossible to check every place out. Music went on way into the morning (nightly) in the Bodytonic tent and also in the Body & Soul area.
Bands that stood out for me were Massive Attack, Alabama 3, Bloc Party, Groove Armada, Basement Jaxx and The Delorentos.
I've been going to festivals since Féile '91 and this was the best by a long shot!
10 / 10 (no exageration)! One happy camper (no pun intended)! A major lesson to all festival organisers worldwide!
