THE JAMES DEAN SYNDROME, WHILE WORKING UNDERGROUND HAVE BEEN REVIEWED BY THE FRENCH BLOG "LE BAR CULT"...........SORRY IF THE TRANSLATIONS A BIT FUNNY.

"Of Hull but not dull

To sum up, The James Dean Syndrome  is a finger in the mouth for the salaciousness of the punk garage, a hand in hair for the side imitating the styles of an earlier period, then that slides on the thigh for the key of sensuality post - punk.
Here is for the outline of musical influence while words register probably in a long local tradition of love for poem that Nordic named by Hull cultivates from which the English trio is originally from.

Their name refers to these talents died before having been able to be exploited in their full capacity and it is not then amazing to smell a dark dimension beyond the importunate riffs. Formed three years ago, they acquired their sonic adulthood only at the beginning of the year according to their own to say, causing sensitive rebellion, life and rage on the remarkable song Witch.

Since their EXPERIMENTAL NUMBERS2 EP is obviously untraceable (for the time being), We can only recommend to listen to titles efficiently carved of James Dean Syndrome directly on their MySpace unless making displacement for a live performance at the end of August together with tienstiens Thee Vicars."

SNEAK PEAK OF THE JAMES DEAN SYNDROME'S EP "EXPERIMENTAL NUMBERS2"  HAS BEEN REVIEWED BY THE GOOD PEOPLE AT "THE NEW THING"......

THE EP WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR RELEASE ON MONOCHROME RECORD COLLECTION IN JULY/AUGUST TIME WITH THE POSSIBILITY OF DIFFRENT TRACKS, AVAILABLE FROM ALL MAJOR ONLINE MUSIC STORES.

"The James Dean Syndrome's Experimental Numbers2 comes across with its ferocious vocals and psychedelic guitar like Mark E. Smith fronting Barrett-era Floyd - the sixties vibe is strongest on 'Extracts from Belargeo Bar' (check the sitar) but it works best when it works with the garage riffs and post-punk chanting on 'Witch' and 'What's That Sound?'. TJDS have been called 'Britain's reply to White Denim', which isn't far off the mark, and this release bodes well for future efforts."

"The James Dean Syndrome may just be the UK’s answer to White Denim. Not that White Denim are a question or a problem, far from it. I mean that they sound like them. Which I think it is a very very fine thing indeed.
It’s frenetic, ideas packed rock n roll with an unabashed retro feel and all ears open to contemporary sounds.
Those tasteful chaps at Monochrome Record Collection recognise this, and are releasing an EP. Good on them!"

THE JAMES DEAN SYNDROMES...........UNOFFICIAL EP HAS BEEN REVIEWED BY THE GOOD PEOPLE AT NEW YORK'S TURN UP THE SOUND BLOG;

"I have been searching for some new music. Something original, angsty, and something leaving me with the highest feeling of satisfaction. I was honored to have been able to have a listen to the new EP from The James Dean Syndrome. The James Dean Syndrome bring forth every quality that music of today is lacking. Every song off the EP is in a word genius. My personal favorite song is 'Frontiers', in my best possible way to describe an indescribable song, I would compare 'Frontiers' to a rare piece of poetry. One where the words don't rhyme, but there is more flow then the most eloquent piece of poetry ever written. A sort of chant breaks through towards the middle of the song "Doors bang, enter chain gang", once you hear that line you recite it over and over again and you think to yourself "This is mad!". If your prepared to listen to some of the most eccentric, unique, mind-shattering diplays of music, then I highly suggest you give The James Dean Syndrome your utmost attention and devotion."
