Today I played at the deep ellum arts festival...my first gig in three years!  It was cold and gray...to my dismay...hip-hip-hooray? No.  I had a great time despite the "frosty weather."  I was pleasantly surprised to see so many doggies roaming around accompanied by their owners...many of them sporting fancy coats...the dogs of course.  I played four songs total: "The Better Days," "Dream Girl," "Strange Place," and "Those Holiday Songs."  Three of which I'd never performed live.  I'd say I did ok, but you wouldn't be able to hear me.  Yes, I'm full of horrible jokes.
