I haven't updated this blog in ages.
But I have been pretty occupied, and not so busy on arts as drawing anymore.
I been doing music and music and more music.

My CD 'Bloodwings', is going well on its way now.
In the meantime it can be even found on iTunes and many many other sites for mp3 downloads and purchases, as Rhapsody, amazonmp3, and so forth!

On my mainpage you can find a widget with 2 of the 4 songs of the EP, so have a listen. ;)

It has been a hard job, seeing in the amount of time I gotten, which was just two months, to compose, record and edit...And those last two were a bit more new on me as well, also with my new programs, plug ins, etc, etc...

And this is not all yet, only had a few months for a 'break', and now I can get working on the Full CD! I'm going to make up my track listing one of these weeks, and then recording arrangements, for me, and for in a studio, can be made! Hurray!

I'm already very pleased on how things are going, having the CD's only from Saturday and by now I already sold quite a few, even all the way up to Norway and beyond! Love y'all!

Alrighty, sue me...Been MONTHS again since I have posted 'anything' on here!

Anyway, on a more serious note, this girly has been busy and has had her up and down moments in her life, and still going through some.
Sometimes it feels as if all goes soooo well then to fall down in to a ditch again...
That's life, but hey! Such things bring inspiration...That they do, sadly enough.

All has been rather quiet on the Wingy front, ha ha.
Not too much has been happening!
The CD has been postponed a bit, and drawing hasn't been too much either!

Yeah, yesterday I returned home from the hospital...So all is still for me adjusting, and getting back on tracks!
So hopefully my arties should be back at it's full! I HOPE

So, things are still going on their merry (and not so merry), way.

Been quite some troubles with people I know, about 3, and that for in a couple of weeks time. Tomorrow I shall talk with one already, about the two others, I dunno. *shrugs*
Apparently a lot of people just can't accept me as who I am.
Or understand on how I have to go through life.

But as some have asked me, what exactly is going on with me.
It's trouble-some to explain that over and over again over MSN, or somewhere else, and I have it hard with talking about myself.

So, for that, this blog, so that they can go take a look here.
To start with, as someone was surprised earlier on, indeed, I have no diploma, I've had to stop school, music-school and couldn't even cope with home-studies due to the health.
Years I have been going in and out of several hospitals.

1 of my diagnoses was Ehlers Danlos, which is a connective-tissue disease.
What is Ehlers Danlos?
It's a disease that comes with a lot of pain, I should be going to a chiropractor 3 times a week (sometimes I don't even bother, lol.).
My skin, muscles, anything, is differently, so little things hurt twice as much for me.
I have a lot of pain, like back, neck, shoulders, etc.
And I have very tender joints, they pop out of their places every now and then, which is also very difficult, and painful.
Except for the collarbones, I can do that on purpose, BWAHA! xD

Anyway, a month ago I have been finally diagnosed with the other disease, that caused me more problems, Adisson disease.
My trial period of my medication is almost over, and it shall be changed this friday, I assume to more, or just more a day, I don't know, we'll see.
But I have to be on cortisone for the rest of my life, as my body can't make cortisol on it's own properly.

A body needs cortisol for anything, waking up, handling pain, handling stress, handling fatigue, you're body makes that to keep you going.
So that is why, why I am quickly tired, just couldn't do anything in a day really without serious fatigue. I lacked concentration, I had problems with my heart and so when I did a lot. I had low bloodsugar, and keep on going like that.
I was miserable for YEARS.
Now that I'm on my cortisone, things are a bit better though, I feel better when they work well, and I can do more a day, so I finally see some light at the end of that long tunnel.

Though still, I have to stay careful, and not overdo it, it's not a cure, it's just something that helps me.
So I have to avoid things that can meddle with anything, like stress, it's important that stress is low, it's important I do not too much in a day.
Because the cortisone does wear off, and so far that I've heard, I have to take extra probably, for when such situations come.

Anyway, it's just so that you all understand.
I try to be normal, it would just be nice if some people understood and took me for what I am. I rarely say it when I'm tired, and I try to tag along, but sometimes it's just not nice if people get pissed at me because I can't do something.

Now, I've been to Facts this weekend, it was fun (and somewhere not, but won't go in to that, just very disappointed in some people *sniff*).
I've met some nice people there, saw an artist again of last year, we had another great chat. I had a chat with a fellow-con artist too! And Allison Sohn, she is amazing! It was fun.

I did a great deal of flyering, yes, that was fun as well! Though I really was worn out by day one, so I had to skip half a day of Sunday *sniff*
Otherwise, it was fun, it's a nice change, not visiting a convention but actually doing something there, was very pleasant!

I have been lucky as well, finally been able to buy the last volume of Alice 19th, weeeee! Only the ending was so...sudden!
Ah well, still good!
And bought a little comic-book from Bart Croonenborghs as well, great guy, special style, I had to get used to it, but it's nice.

I also bought a nifty bracelet, otherwise I just spend a lot of money on coffee! Haha! xD

So yeah, it was a blast, and, I really hope that some people get back to me of whom I met at the convention, cause we sure had great fun! xD

(too many birds! xD...NAH! Never, LOL!).

Greetings all!

I have quite forgotten to update this blog now, how dare I!
Now, since last time a lot of things happened.

So as last read on my previous blog-entry, I had a performance in begin July.
It went okay...not that okay, haha.
I think the main problem was that it started raining, like POURING when it all started, so everyone was stuck in the tent..And yeah, booze flowed, and so forth.

So I did not really get any silence through-out my performance, which was hard, I had hard to concentrate, and a hard time to hear myself as well.
At least the sound was an improvement compared to last year, but...they turned the noise down! -_-
Otherwise, I did hear that people loved my songs, so that is what I do it for, many were proud, of the ones who knew me, so yeah, that's nice.

Otherwise, no further recordings yet of the mini-cd I was working on, but I hope soon. The one where I go record the songs is just extremely busy, understandable. Though I hope I can continue soon.
In the meantime I worked more on my booklet, now to CG them all. And the logo as well!

Shamefully enough I have been ill through-out the summer, as I just had collapsed through pressure and exhaustion when my mum was in the hospital for an operation. Though that did speed up the process of finding FINALLY what was wrong with me, I have Adisson disease after all...Thus, now I'm on a month trial for medication (cortisone), it works miracles, I'm like a new person.
Though I think it has to be changed some though, think some more would be better, cause I do get exhausted more quickly when they meds affect wear off.
Ah well, I have my couple of hours where I do a lot, I have been ill two weeks now though, didn't help then.
But now I'm back on track, drawing, making music, caring for my birds, doing other things!

It's fun, I'm ready also to go out again, finally after 3.5 months I go to see my friends again =).
Been SO long, I missed them, but I never felt ready to go out the door.

OH! This weekend is the Facts convention in Ghent!
I'm a flyer girl (hehe), but I also will be giving flyers of my site to people, the front carries a drawing I made, it's definetely something special! So I suggest you'd come check it out! ;)
Many artists sell A6 drawings on conventions, I just give 5000 away!

P.P.S A random drawing I did after seeing the last Pirates movie!

Wooooow, *dies of devastation*
It's still very busy, sometimes I even forget to make phonecalls, or stupid little things, unbelievable.
But, I don't mind that much, I like how my life is going right now (though a little bit luck in love life would be nice xD LOL).

Anyway, I had commisions for a year, would be fun, but by the time I had sent my first drawing I had no reply anymore.
I'm pissed...no replies on mail, and bad thing is, I got involved in other things then, so I kinda kept on forgetting to call.
Wonder if I should or not, lol.

Anyway, been working hard on my music these days, it's fun.
Been recording stuff, and coming more, and hopefully a pretty mini-cd as result, it's fun.
Once I've been in that studio, I really thought, 'this is my life, it's how I want to spend it', same what I feel when I perform. =)
Shame that some people just don't understand, even some people really close to me. *shrugs* I'll have to just shrug it off, do my thing, it's my life after all!

Been drawing good lately too =) Did a portrait for a couple, they were pleased, nice to hear. Now have to finish a portrait for a friend of mine.
Have to make logo and cd cover, well, it's made, just not finished, far from.

Anyway, as quite a lot of people know, that I really adore soundtrack music, ya?
Well, I really like the music that Hans Zimmer makes, he has really good soundtracks.
Like, Gladiator, Last Samurai, Lion King, Peal Harbour, Pirates OST I, II, and III, and my fave soundtrack EVER, King Arthur.

Anyway, the third OST of Pirates, is the best of the trilogy, in my opinion.
He brings together themes of the previous two ones and can put them together in one song, nice overflows.
Or he uses his new themes over one another, forming a new song as it is.
Also the aspect of choirs in the songs, makes it more dramatic.
And I love the brilliance of 'Hoist the Colours', the simplicity makes the song.
'What Shall we Die For', brings that song back up again, it terrific dramatic choir style, ah, I love that.
I guess my fave songs are those two mentioned before, plus 'Drink Up Me Hearties', and 'Up is Down'.

BUT, then we come upon a minus point...the song 'One Day,' is VERY similar at one point to the beginning of 'Woad to Ruin', a song from the King Arthur CD.
Well, not that bad, I mean, it's the same composer and he holds some techniques and things that can link to himself, which makes him.
But it wouldn't have been that bad if it weren't for the Pirates OST of Dead Men's Chest, where the song 'Hello Beastie,' can be linked to 'Do you Think I'm Saxon,' also a King Arthur OST song...

But ah well, assume that happens.
Otherwise, love love love for all those OST's of his! XD

Anyway, for the ones who want to know, my fave composers ever of soundtrack music are, Danny Elfman (Edwards Sciccorhands, Black Beauty, etc,), Hans Zimmer, and Yuki Kajiura (Mai-Hime, Noir, etc). ^^

Anyway, rant ends here, me needs FOOD!
And then sleep.

Sunday I have a performance by the by, at the Jan Gas Feesten in Grasheide!
Come if you can, I'd love to, performing two own songs!
So yeah, hoping some people come to see that I know, would be fun.
Anyway, it starts about 7pm!

So, my first convention has come and went, and now it's almost a month later in the meantime? And I still have great memories of it.

Besides the damned hot weather that was that day and that you were melting inside that building.
And then I decided to give myself a nice seating and I took the damned table under those spots! >,<

Stupid lights gave such an inmense heat it was sometimes unbearable to be sitting there and be a good girl and draw.

Now, besides that I also joined some tournaments, YESH! (special artist treatment I got, getting to be first in line or once they came to get me when I had to play...it was fun)...Anyway, I got my ass whooped in both, ah well. XD

I sold some stuff, maybe not that much, but enough, it is always enough.
The few people that have a drawing of mine, is a few people more that like my art.
I had gotten quite some requests, one commisions that'll go over a year.

Now, besides Funi I'm still busy, practicing two of my songs for a performance the first of july...WOOT!

Anyway, anyone went to see the third Spiderman?
I went with Max(world) forum people, it was fun!
We all became so close, that group, it is really fun, we occupied almost the whole last row, hehehehe...It was also a marathon by the by!
And after Spiderman we even went for drinks and it was around 4am I returned home, hehehehe.

It's pretty crazy, seeing that I've gotten such a social life really.
Monday away with that group, on friday too, been hanging at a pub from 8:30 to 1am...hehe, then we went to get some chips too afterwards, it was madness (kinda reminds me of movie 300 now (madness thing, ya see? XD)).
And then Saturday we went to a restaurant to visit one of those guys from the group at his work, hehe, and when he had finished work, we went for drinks and returned home around 2 to 3am it was.

Really crazy...Though it's fun really, I needed friends that you could count, go out with when you feel like it, last minute discussing happening too a lot lately, LOL.

But it's rather funny, because the people got together through a gaming/anime shop, but with that most of them are males.
There are a few other females, but when it is with really going out at night, it's me and about 8 guys or so, very funny. XD

Speaking about guys, I seem to be very unfortunate in finding a guy for myself, bad huh.
Everytime when I think, "he might be the one," he's either got an eye on someone else/got a girlfriend/is married, or whatever.

And then the guy I'd really like, I know I can never have.O_O
Ah well...XD That's poor lil me, who knows I might bump in to someone sometime or so..Ya...*dreams*

Not that I care that greatly now (besides the one I can never have, still gotta get over it I think O_O..it's like a secret secret love XD), because I have so many friends now. ^.^

Woo, anyway, to the drawing board! Because I have to draw a lot of things still XD (and here I was thinking things would get more calmly after Funiversum xD).

You know what...Life can suck.
I still have two backgrounds to make for my final prints for Funiversum.
And I was stupid enough to bang my head VERY hard against the corner of the little bathroom door thing......Ouch anyone?
But I didn't bother, went on, and...went to a concert, which I missed halfly or so because I felt SO ill...headache and so.
Mum said I should go to emergency, I was like, "naaaah".

On our way home, I got sicker and sicker, and ya...once home, we left to emergency...joy >,>
They let me sit there for a freaking hour before they got to me -_-

Anyway, verdict was...concussion...the doctor dude said it should be over in 3 days?
Been living in the dark for two days, and today should be my third.
But due some circumstances, (visit to doctor and now my mum to emergency), I couldn't.
Anyway, doctor said to me...that the guy from emergency saw it pretty lightly my concussion, and that I certainly have to camp a few more days...in the dark...again! And that it might take a week before it gets better.
NOOOOOOO!
I'm stressing and freaking out, I wanna finish my pictures ;.;

Ah well, at least I hope it's better by saturday, was going to get a drink with some people, so it'd better be better by then! >,<

Now, quick thing...weeeee, got mail from someone, huzzah! Thought something was going on, but...guess that's all better now! ^^"
