Well, after a long build up with all the efforts by everyone to publicise this years' event, the day arrived & as usual there was much excitement & anticipation, & a little stress as we simply wondered how it was going to turn out.... there was no need to worry! No doubt about it, we're absolutely delighted with the way things turned out.

First up, we attracted a crowd of 300+ so that's around 50% up on last year's turn out of around 200. We were happy last year with the turn-out & this time it was first class all the way. Lovely atmosphere with a room packed with genuine rock & metal fans - as Fury UK say in their introduction to their song "Brotherhood" ...."do we all have metal running through our veins?" - hell, yes! Fantastic! & big thanks first to all those of you that bought tickets in advance or on the door, whether that was through Ticketline, the band directly, the venue or ourselves. Without you there isn't an event - simple fact.

Next up big thanks to all who supported & promoted the event.... (if we miss anyone out here, please say) Rock Radio Manchester 106.1FM & especially Jon Kirkman who did the 4 interview with Decadenze, Fury UK, Blaze Bayley & Nightvision. Also, Hard Rock Radio Live (Mad Ian & Josi), Infernal Rock Radio (Moonie), B1, Angel of Metal, Warrington FM (Tony Whittaker), Hazel, Donna, Rob & Pedro, Neil Pilkington, Toni.

Big thanks to our fantastic crew & helperscthat helped us to keep everything on track - Crazy Mike, Sager, Nick, Luke Elwick, Duffy, Cassie, Tony, Chris, Mick, Ashley, Linzi. All the feedback about how the show ran has been great & that couldn't happen without you. Of course our very special thanks go to our very own Chris for his most excellent work with the sound-rig.

We're absolutely delighted to be able to confirm the headline act for this year's SOS Festival - former-Iron Maiden frontman, the mighty Blaze Bayley. Blaze begins his UK Tour, in support of his latest amazing album "The Man Who Would Not Die", on 2nd May  & effectively Blaze's appearance at SOS Festival will now be the finale to the UK tour.
