Andrews Returns to Crossroads Records Studio
Brandon Andrews returned to Crossroads Records Studio earlier this week to begin work on his upcoming release. Andrews worked along side Southern Gospel's most sought after musicians, engineers, and producers. Andrews states, "I've worked with Crossroads before, but this time there is something special in the works with this project. There is a sense of excitement during the sessions, and the same excitement is found in the music from the first note to the last. I believe this will be my best CD to date and I'm glad to be working with these great guys." The CD will feature many different styles from today's best writers such as, Rodney Griffin, Jason Clark, Nick Trammell, and Joseph Habedank. Brandon contributed five original songs that he has written over the past year. Andrews is serving as the projects "Executive Producer," while Danny Crawford is the "Tracking Producer," along with Crossroads A&R Director and Co-Owner, Jeff Collins. The anticipated release date is scheduled for Fall 2009.

Brandon Andrews Releases Christmas Single, "O Holy Night"
NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Brandon Andrews is excited to announce the release of his newest single "O Holy Night" in conjunction with Two Rivers Promotion exclusively through Radioactive Airplay.
Brandon shares, "This special song has become a traditional anthem for the holiday season. Though many artists have performed 'O Holy Night', it seems with each version you sense anew the excitement of that special, sacred night, the night our Lord and Savior was born." Andrews continues, "Christmas is a time that is dear to my heart, much more than gifts and great food and fellowship with our loved ones and friends. Though many consider the holiday season to be just a short portion of the year, I prefer to celebrate all year long, because as a Christian, Christmas should be the celebration of the foundation of our faith, the birth of Jesus Christ."

This CD appears to be the debut effort by Southern Gospel soloist Brandon Andrews. Though still a teenager, he has a well-trained voice that sounds as though he was at least ten years older.
The level of effort put into this project is quite impressive. It was produced by Jeff Collins and recorded at Crossroads Studios. Several tracks were produced by Roger Talley, and Roger and Lauren Talley, former Greater Vision tenor Chris Allman, and Eric Bennett all contribute background vocals.
Andrews wrote one new song for the project, "Way of Grace." The rest of the project consists of familiar songs–five or six hymns, a couple Southern Gospel classics, and two Rodney Griffin tunes. The packaging and artwork is also professionally done.
Many projects are recorded to introduce new songs; this project is more to introduce the singer. Whether as a soloist or with a group, Andrews has a good voice, and I wouldn't be surprised if we'll be hearing from him in the future.

NASHVILLE, Tenn.– Crossroads recording artist Brandon Andrews is pleased to announce the release of his new single, "I Want to Be the One," through Radioactive Airplay and on Crossroads' radio compilation.
Penned by award-winning songwriter Rodney Griffin, "I Want to Be the One" recalls the story of the healing of the 10 lepers and the return of only one to thank Jesus for that healing. It also serves as a call for Christians of today to be mindful of thankfulness and praise. Regarding the song Brandon says, "This song is so relevant to us as Christians today. So often miracles take place in our lives and our blessings are abundant. But too often we pass that by as 'chance' or 'fate' and are not thankful for what He has done for us. I believe this song is a reminder that out of 10 who feel His touch we should all strive to be the very one who returns to show Him love and praise."

Can you hear them shouting? I can hear them faintly He is alive, in the distance they come from the empty tomb, the sound of joy is rising, HE is alive, but then they arrive near you in the crowded streets! HE IS ALIVE! This cry of joy was Good News to some, but to many then and today it is an annoyance!
The world today has covered up his birth with gifts and self-gratification and they’ve covered his death and resurrection with colored eggs and chocolate but to some today and then the GOOD NEWS was heard! Praise God that our Lord and Savior JESUS CHRIST only needed a Temporary Tomb! He Has Risen from the dead, He has conquered death! Satan is defeated! That Victory is won! IT IS DONE! PRAISE GOD! PRAISE GOD!
Now as christians it is our JOB and DEBT to GO TELL a lost and dying world THAT JESUS HAS RISEN HE IS ALIVE! Can you hear it now, in a crowded supermarket, in the shopping mall, and in many business establishments, crowded halls, and in churches all across America! HE IS RISEN. I can hear it now! Make the Cry of Christ TODAY louder than ever before! HE IS ALIVE! GO TELL!
ALIVE, RISEN, REDEEMED!
GO TELL!
God Bless You All During This Easter Season 2008!
