Ann Blair debuted last night on FM Radio on WMZQ’s 98.7 Homegrown Country Radio program with the title track from her CD “Wanted You to Know.”
At the top of the show, the host Kat Jackson made the statement “that if you were listening to this broadcast you were privy to a part of history.” This was the first broadcast of this new segment, which Highlights local talent in country music.

Some other things that have happened in last few months have been:
Jan 2009 IRL Music Product takes Ann Blair to Midem; this show is the equivalent of the Cannes Film Festival for the Music Industry. Ann was a featured artist on the back cover of the catalog that was produced and passed around the show in France.
Original Girls Magazine Contest awards Ann Blair with placement of Love You, By the Way on the first ever CD compilation, as well as mention in their magazine. (See attached slick) This magazine is available in print and online. The CD will be included in the print version upon mailing.
Feb 2009 RMR Music chooses “Back There” for placement on the Project Cure Compilation. The vision for the CD is to provide families or individuals in their time of need with an outlet (music) that they can relate to, gain strength and encouragement from, while also donating all of the proceeds to three specific foundations. The compilation was released at the annual Wine Tasting Event for the Immune Deficiency Foundation in May of 2009.
April 2009 Radio Crystal Blue places “Back There” in rotation on their station.
Iris Evolution hosts song contest, “Wanted You to Know” makes it through first round (we await the results). The winner will be awarded a custom website worth $5,000*. Tailored to fit their style and best highlight their talent to the world. Website will include fan zone and registering system, multimedia capabilities (i.e. video and music), photo gallery, tour and news content system and 1 full year of free hosting from website launch date.
May 2009 Celtica Radio out of Wales (yes Wales) places “Wanted You to Know”
into rotation.
The Songwriters Network places “Love You By the Way” into rotation.
Women of Substance Radio places “Wanted You to Know” into rotation.
Red Dog Radio places “Love You By the Way” into rotation.
Radio Bracknell places “Boy across Town” into rotation.
AFC Radio Show places “Daddy’s Car” into rotation.
