FKL appendage, thesuperglo, presents an almost shamanistic incantation that starts huge and energetic before craftily progressing into the more mystifying planes of psy. A deep, penetrating set, that paints a kind of broodingly peaceful (oxymoron?) atmosphere that is sure to gratify your neuroses.

thesuperglo has created a beautiful amalgamation that features some of psytrance's more esoteric names, like Encephalopaticys, Paranoize and Atriohm alongside the more familiar names of Tryambaka and Fungus Funk.

Simply brilliant!

It's been awhile since the last update but boy! do i have some stuff for you.

First up, a recording of the set I played during an amazing New Years Eve party thrown by my second family and comrades-in-arms at FoundationKL and Singapore psytrance collective The Om Project. The party was held in a secret location deep in the jungle and high up in the hills. The line-up consisted of myself, Radzy(FKL.org), theChinared(FKL.org), Nstomp(OM Project), MorningStar(OM Project), DJ 3hm (Osirion Recs.), DJ Moudy (Lebanon), Spacebass/DJ Mushroom (Jordan). It was an honour and a pleasure to be able play with this all-star lineup.

The Vibe was amazing, the  music was awesome and when the mist came rolling in. It was like  playing in  Heaven itself.

A bit about the artist:
Kenneth Lui, aka the superglo, defiantly represents an outlying sound amongst the commercial dirge of manufactured Malaysian music. Growing up on Penang Island, off the west coast of Malaysia, Kenneth gained initial exposure through his residencies at several underground clubs. Playing for the grungy and the glamorous, his sound began its development through adopting elements from the solid sounds of psytrance and hard house blended with the relentless intensity of Chinese-influenced hardcore, or fengtau.

Got a couple of new mixes coming soon.

- a dark, proggy, tribalish, electro mix.

- and one mix concentrating more on the 'morning' sound of psytrance and goa.

I'm still contemplating releasing these 2 as there are some bits that I'm not really happy about. I might just do the unthinkable and re-record the mixes. Hmmm. Well, we'll just have to wait and see.
