The gig at The New Way Bar was a lot of fun. Many thanks to The Zimmerman Twins
for opening the show and providing the backline gear. Thanks to carl
for lending us his basement so we could rehearse for the show. Thanks to all our fans, friends and family for coming out to see us after having been away for so long! Jay, John, Ken & Paul---The Hoolapoppers.Dwonload Part 1Download Part 2

Joining me this week are Christopher Moll and Tim Yehezkely of The Postmarks, an Indie/pop group from Pompono Beach, Florida.
"some of the most complex and sophisticated pop music around, a self-contained, hermetically pure world of orchestrated, swooningly cinematic lusciousness."
--New Times
"...awash with atmospheric, watercolor sounds, implying something ominous underneath the innocence.' --CMJ Yup, that's perfect. Couldn't say it better myself. They're out there promoting their third CD, Memoirs At The End Of The World, which was recently released back in late August.
Check them out on their WEB SITE and their MYSPACE PAGE You can purchase "Memoirs" and their other two releases at Amazon.com

My
guest this week is hard rock legend, the High-Mistress of Metal, Lita
Ford. She stopped rocking, literally, at the top of her game, back in
the 1990's to devote her time and energy to family, and the
surroundings of real life on a surreal Caribbean island. (tough gig
there, eh?) But once you have the bug in you to ROCK!, it never really leaves you, and eventually Lita felt the itch again. Her new CD, Wicked Wonderland is her first full-length offering since 1995's Black. Lita shows that her flair for sexy, stomping, searing sounds has only gotten more vivid. Check out this episode of DigiVegas to hear tracks off Wicked Wonderland,
and to hear Lita discuss with Paulie her decision to leave the rock
scene, her life in Paradise, and her decision to come back to rock
audiences nationwide on her tour with Queensryche.
Download the show's MP3 FILE here.
Learn of her upcoming tour dates and other info on her WEB SITE and her MYSPACE PAGE. You can buy Wicked Wonderland at Amazon.com and

 Bombastic,
funky, sexy and loud, Chad Smith (drummer of Red Hot Chili Peppers
& Chickenfoot) has a new band! Together with guitar star Jeff
Kollman, multi-faceted keyboardist Ed Roth, and Motor City bass ace
Kevin Chown. they comprise what is easily one of the most interesting
and unpredictable instrumental bands to come along in years. Their
sound fusies together styles as diverse as classic rock, old school
funk, punk, and 70’s R&B.
I
was able to get them together for a conference call and talk about the
formation of the band, their shared philosophies on music, and
recording of the debut CD, Meet The Meatbats.

My Guest this week is Matt Moore, from Clare, MI. It’s difficult for a young male singer/songwriter to set himself apart from the crowd in a genre that is already packed full of talent, but that is exactly what Clare, Michigan based modern rock artist Matt Moore has been doing. His songs are the story of his life, often touching on love, relationships, personal struggles and faith. Matt has a unique ability to combine honest and vulnerable lyrics with passionate guitar playing to create an emotional and memorable experience. Check out this episode of Digivegas. Matt shares music from his new CD, No Place Left To Hide, AND how you can get it for free. He also reminisces about playing for men in tights, as well as risking arrest to put on a show.
