Vieles neu macht der März...

In der Tat. Denn in diesem Monat passiert einiges...
An erster Stelle steht natürlich die Neuauflage von „Monster“, die ab Freitag, dem 06.03. in den Läden stehen wird, diesmal mit der aktuellen und erst nach Fertigstellung des ursprünglichen Albums aufgenommenen Single „Sandmann“ an Bord.

The “Sandmann” has been busy doing his dirty deeds on the world wide web for some time now (http://de.youtube.com/watch?v=bLJhmnI5Ez0), but we’re proud to announce that soon, namely from February 27th, you can have your very own “Sandmann”to take home. That’s the official release date for “Sandmann” as the brand new OOMPH! single. You can also choose between two versions: “Sandmann” will be available as a normal 2-track single (naturally including “Sandmann” and a “Sandmann” remix by [:SITD:]) as well as in a limited 5-track edition including the two “Sandmann” versions along with “Auf Kurs”, “Du lügst” and the three videos from the “Monster” album (“Labyrinth”, “Auf Kurs” and “Sandmann”). Now you can finally see the latest OOMPH! videos anytime you want in full size on your TV.

Zwischen zwei Varianten darf man sich entscheiden: „Sandmann" erscheint als ‚normale' 2 Track Single (natürlich mit „Sandmann" und einem „Sandmann" Remix von [:SITD:], sowie als limitierter 5 Tracker, der neben den beiden „Sandmann" Versionen noch „Auf Kurs", „Du lügst" sowie die drei Videos vom „Monster" Album („Labyrinth", „Auf Kurs" und „Sandmann") beinhaltet. The Sandman is coming…

…to a viewing screen near you! But not as a figure from your childhood; instead as the brand new OOMPH! single entitled "Sandmann". As previously announced, "Sandmann" is a song so new that it's not even on their latest album "Monster". Catch your first glimpse and first listen to the song and video here in the trailer. And that's all the advance listening and viewing you'll get to do with "Sandmann" until the video celebrates its world premiere on January 9th, 2009 on the OOMPH! myspace.com page. Before that you can see the band on the RTL 2 New Year's Eve Sylvester Show starting at 8:15 p.m. (CET). OOMPH! hit the stage then at around 10:30 p.m. Stay tuned…

Der Sandmann kommt…

… auf eure Bildschirme! Allerdings nicht als Figur aus eurer Kindheit, sondern als die nagelneue OOMPH! Single namens „Sandmann". Wie bereits angekündigt, ist „Sandmann" ein ganz neuer Song, der sich auch nicht auf dem aktuellen Album „Monster" befindet, erste Eindrücke vom Song und vom Video gibt es hier im Trailer. Und das wird das einzige sein, was ihr vorläufig vom „Sandmann" zu hören und zu sehen bekommen werdet, denn seine Weltpremiere feiert der fertige Clip erst am 09.01.2009 auf der OOMPH! myspace.com Seite. Vorher könnt ihr die Band noch in der RTL 2 Sylvestershow sehen, Beginn ist um 20.15, OOMPH! werden gegen 22.30 zu sehen sein. Stay tuned…

You’ve taken chances, you’ve cheered and cursed – now it’s time! Sure, you remember: A dark, blood-smeared laboratory whose doors open if you have the right secret code. Gloomy passages, an ice-cold cathedral… right, we’re talking about the OOMPH! OOMPH! – Take a break? What's that?

The year is winding down now and the days are getting shorter, but in Braunschweig, Germany it seems that time runs differently somehow. OOMPH! boys Dero, Flux and Crap, after their amazing "Monster" tour, are not taking a break at all – instead they're right back at work. The latest item on their "to do" list: Shooting the next video, what else?! And here's the best part: Instead of taking another song from "Monster" as the next single, they've come up with a brand new song altogether. That's right folks, brand new! Of course a previously unreleased number and not an old b-side they've found on the shelf. So for now that's all the info we can give away, but there's more to come in the not-too-distant future – bet you're already bursting with curiosity, aren't you?! Don't worry, we'll keep you updated on everything…


OOMPH! – Pause? Was ist das?

Das Jahr neigt sich dem Ende entgegen, die Tage werden immer kürzer, doch in Braunschweig ticken die Uhren offenbar anders. Denn Dero, Flux und Crap gönnen sich auch nach der „Monster" Tour auch nicht nur die geringste Pause – sondern stürzen sich direkt wieder in die Arbeit. Neuster Eintrag in der „to do" Liste: die Aufnahmen zum nächsten Videoclip. Und jetzt kommt das Beste: statt einen weiteren Song aus „Monster" auszukoppeln haben die Jungs einen funkelniegelnagelneuen Song aus der Tasche gezogen. Richtig gelesen, funkelniegelnagelneu! Und logischerweise noch nicht veröffentlicht und keine wieder gefundene B-Seite. Deshalb an dieser Stelle nur der Hinweis, dass alle weiteren Infos in nicht allzu ferner Zeit folgen werden – wir gehen jede Wette ein, dass ihr jetzt schon vor Neugier platzt und halten euch auf dem laufenden…

*** Finale Deutschlandshow der Oomph! Tour

Mit der Show im Münchener Backstage endete die Tour von Oomph!, in dessen Vorprogramm auch ihre Labelkollegen All Ends auftreten, in Deutschland. Bevor es dann aber endgültig nach Hause geht, werden die Bands in den nächsten Tagen noch in der Schweiz in Zürich und Solothurn und in Österreich in Wien einen Stopp einlegen. The show at Munich's Backstage finishes off the German leg of the Oomph! tour, featuring support by their Special Guests and labelmates All Ends. Before the two bands part ways though, they move on for the next few days to Switzerland for shows in Zurich and Solothurn and then to Vienna, Austria.
