GUITAR SHORTY on CBS NEWS, EARLY SHOW WEBSITE

Guitar Shorty Fans, Friends and Family-

During a break from the recording studio in Santa Monica last Friday, Guitar Shorty ran in to Dave Price, Weather Anchor for the CBS News, Early Show.  Shorty went out to walk on the Santa Monica Pier and met Dave, who was there to kick off the “No Way Home” segment that began airing on the CBS News Early Show, on Monday morning. 

Dave’s assignment was to get from California to New York City starting out with only $50, a blackberry and a backpack.   He would have to work his way back to New York by tomorrow morning (October 9^th).  Shorty offered Dave $8 and some advice on how to get across the country on a shoestring. Shorty is not a stranger to television.  He appeared on (and won) The Gong Show back in 1976.

Shorty is excited to announce that he is in the studio putting the finishing touches on a 2010 release for Alligator Records.  Keep an eye out - and your ears open - for Shorty’s latest work projected for release in early 2010.
