Hey, this was pretty cool to find out about. TSF is featured in the new December issue of Music Connection as one of the Top 25 unsigned artists / new music critiques of 2009. TSF's "You Can't Go Back" EP was critiqued earlier this year.

Hey!

You may have noticed that we have a hometown show coming up the day after Thanksgiving (Nov. 27th)... 

We noticed some awesome fan-made videos posted on you-tube set to our music.

This gave us an idea... Awesome fan-made video + big hometown show = VIDEO CONTEST!

Here's what we need:

If you want YOUR video to be played with the band at our next live show, send a youtube, facebook, or myspace video link to us here: fans@thestrangefamiliar.com 
We will also add the winning video to our myspace and youtube pages AND you will receive a free signed copy of our new album!

Be creative! Some ideas: a slideshow, video montage, TSF lyrics, something that inspires you... basically anything you want (nothing obscene of course). 

The only rule is that you have to set your video to our music. Specifically, one of these 3 songs: "I Just Want to Love You", "Still Have Time", or "Never Be".

Good Luck! Can't wait to see what you come up with ;) 

Oh - and the deadline for video submissions is 9 p.m. EST on Monday Nov. 23rd.

Hey all!

Yes... it's true. We wrote a christmas song, and it is featured on ABC Family's "Songs to Celebrate the 25 Days of Christmas". You can read more about it here:

Our song, "The Only Gift I Need", is track #10.  Hope you like it! Some other artists featured include: Simple Plan, Hanson, Brian Setzer, Ella Fitzgerald, Hillary Duff, and Alexa Vega.

So... I have to admit that it's been a while since I have answered messages and comments - or approved friend requests. I guess I was on a little myspace hiatus... I apologize for taking so long to respond. But all that is about to change... I'm BACK! and ready to start talking.. so please stop by and say hey - just try to be patient, as I am already super backed up on answering messages etc.
