Aloha!
It was another great year for Brown Bags To Stardom and we thank you all for making it a big success! The music videos submitted in this years contest were incredible and showcased some of the best high school talents in the State of Hawaii. It's toughest high school talent contest in world because you have to write an original song, record it then produce a music video and you are judged on all of these merits. The best part about it all is it's all on OC16 TV and anyone in the world can vote to support you.
Then we saw the return of (after eight years) Brown Bags To Stardom "Back To School" talent contest that once again filled the school gyms and grassy knolls with the entire student body to cheer on their contestants where one winner will represent their school at the state finals held at the Neal Blaisdell Arena. We congratulate all of you for having the courage, determination and perserverence to put yourselves out there to show your school pride. That was unbelievable!
Over 70 schools participated and tens of thousands voted and more than that watched on television, online including the hundreds of websites showcasing the Brown Bags To Stardom talents. Thank you for being a part of Brown Bags To Stardom.
It's going to be tough to beat this years programs but we got some great new ideas for next year, innovative projects and fantastic prizes that is going to blow your minds. So stay tuned to Brown Bags To Stardom on OC16, keep up your chops, practice harder because it's going to be even more impressive next school year. We wish you all the best of luck and see you at a Brown Bags To Stardom talent search coming to a school near you.
