Kurt Vonnegut has died aged 84 April 11, 2007, after a brain injury resulting from a fall in his home in New York.

He was one of my favourite writers and a major voice for humanism.

Kurt Vonnegut has a singular writing style with witty and touching works that described the human condition in ways simultaneously funny, tragic and dignified.

He continued to write and give lectures up until his death.

I have a tremendous amount of respect for this man.

I have decided to leave my band The Evils after careful consideration.

The final Evils gig will be on Tuesday 24th April at San Francisco Bathhouse here in Wellington. It should be an excellent show.

My reasons for leaving include not feeling I can do my best as a song writer and please everybody at the same time and general uncompromisable differences of opinion between band members on a range of frustrating topics.

For everyone that has supported us thankyou most kindly. It has been a great experience for the last two and a bit years

My music continues in the form of my first solo album due to come out in about a month and my other band Xenu with drummer Andrew Robins which will be performing next at Mighty Mighty on the Saturday 21st April with Mr Sterile Assembly and the Strap-ons.

My Bass/Vocals and Drums duo Xenu will be performing:

March 15 at 'The Adelaide' in New Town (on Adelaide Rd) on around 8:30pm (don't turn up late or you will miss it).

 I just got home from the Guitar Wolf gig at the San Francisco Bathhouse.

I decided to write a review, which goes like this.

Guitar Wolf is the worst and best rock and roll band in the world.

I only wish my left ear plug hadn't fallen out because I can still hear the guitar feeding really loudly.

I have uploaded some songs from my solo project.

I also had this great dream recently where I was trapped in a house that was being eaten by whales.

Wow. I never thought trying to change profiles would be so much work.

This is my new music profile so that I can present some of the solo material I have been working on due for release some time early in 2007.

You see, when I joined Myspace it was all new and shiny and there weren't such things as band profiles.

Oh well. It took over two hours to set this up what with having to add every single friend again from scratch and all and it's still not really finished.
