The Ladies of She-Dick were pleased as punch to star in this short film directed by Dallas filmmaker Israel Luna. The film showed in place of previews at the 2007 OutTakes Film Festival in Dallas along with 4 other shorts Israel produced starring other fabulous 'Ladies' who perform in the area. To see more of the films, just go to MySpace TV and search for 'Fade to Drag'. Hope you enjoy!

Sky Royale Pictures in association with RJT Productions is working on an independent film called 'So Beautiful' starring Dallas drag sensations She-DICK.  Upon completion, the film will be entered into numerous local, regional and national GLBT and independent film festivals.

The film is about three young girlfriends living together in the big city with dead-end jobs and big dreams.  Just when life seems to be at it's worst, one of the girls gets the chance she's waited her whole life for - to break into the high-pressure, fast-paced world of fashion!  With the help of her crazy roommates and a cast of assorted, colorful characters, she's on her way from broke-ass to high-class, in Sky Royale's 'SO BEAUTIFUL'.

You may have seen the girls of She-DICK, Candi Shell, Gloria Hole, and Persia Ali, rocking hip Dallas-area nightclubs as diverse as Rubber Gloves, The Cavern, Minc Lounge, Club Dada, and The Monkey Bar, as well as hosting the Hedwig Sing-a-Long at the Belmont Hotel.  Or maybe you saw them on the Extensions.com float in the 2007 Alan Ross Freedom Parade.  And look for them this fall at the OUTTakes Dallas film festival, where they're introducing some of the films.

Get a chance to work with the band the Dallas Voice called "a naughty trio of electro, hip-hopping drag divas".

We're looking for a HISPANIC/LATINO male actor 19-27 yo to play the part of Rico, over-the-top beloved best friend and sidekick to Allegra (Candi Shell), one of the leads.  The part calls for a man who is either flamboyant or can easily act the part.  Rico is a no-holds-barred tour de force of fashion and flashy fabulousness.

We are also seeking a woman of any age to play the part of Mrs. Kyoto, the girls' crazed cat lady landlord.  In casting this role, women of Asian descent are preferred, but for the right person with the right comedic timing we may be able to work around that aspect.  Mrs. Kyoto is a hilarious, if somewhat "stereotypical" character.  Please understand this film is a comedy that seeks to offend no one...or everyone.

Several male & female MODELS will be needed for a runway fashion show segment in the film.  Models must be ready to try on clothes.  The clothing will be from Dallas designer Mattamorhpis.  MODELS, please do not wear white stick deodorant, as many of the clothes are dark.  Long hair needs to be in a ponytail.  Please provide your own shoes/heels. No outside jewelry/bracelets/watches etc. We will not be responsible for any lost/damaged items.  We are looking for slender, tall models.

Many EXTRAS will be needed for this film.  Please contact us if you're interested in being an extra in the film.

NOTE: All models/extras/actors must have their own means of transportation to and from all shoot locations, casting, etc. and must be willing to commit to scheduled shooting times.

***PLEASE NOTE*** You've heard of low-budget...this project is a NO-BUDGET feature.  While there is no monetary compensation for this film at this time (future compensation upon distribution, etc. to be determined at a later time) it is important for everyone to understand this is a professional production.  We will have the assistance of professional cinematographers, makeup artists, photographers, etc. and we will gladly provide food & beverages at all shoots.  As well, for anyone seeking to further their modeling/acting careers, this will be a great addition to your resume'.  We are seeking fun, light-hearted, capable and committed individuals to have the time of their lives and be a part of an exciting movie event in the Dallas area.

We had a terrific time performing last month in Denton, TX at the famous Rubber
Gloves Rehearsal Studios!!  We were joined by lots of fantastic guests.   First,
we were announced by our dear friend and Middle Eastern popstar, PERSIA.
Here's a pic of Persia and Annie getting tipsy after the show:

Next, our totally tubular German producer, Hans HandiKraft took the stage with
us, and we performed our first hit, "Hot Dog Man".  You can go to YouTube and
watch it by clicking here.  Hansy is SOOOOO talented, a born beat-maker.

Next we were joined by the headmistress of our newly-opened She-Dick School
 of Modeling
, Peggy Waddlebottom:

She had scouted some fresh faces in the audience, and the would-be models
joined her onstage.  Then, parting the crowd like Moses, we created a runway
and had a 'walk-off' that rivaled Zoolander's, all the while singing our
DIFFA-inspired song, "So Beautiful (on the Runway)".

Annie about to HURL:

The winning model, Chocolate E. Clair, received a light-up tiara, a bouquet of red
roses and an 800-dollar bag of cocaine (which Gloria had a tough time letting go
of).  Our new prodigy will be enrolled as a pupil at the She-Dick School of
Modeling
and undoubtedly go on to be unnaturally thin and live in a tiny New
York apartment.  Congratulations, Chocolate!!!!!

Next we were joined by our glamour-consultant/photographer/musical
collaborator, Teresa Nasty, and we performed our sexy new track, "Miss
Nasty".

You can see the video of that performance by clicking here

It was Teresa's first time to perform in front of an audience, and she was...
AMAZING!!  SO DAMN SEXY!!!!!  Thank you, Teresa--for everything.

For those of you who live in Dallas, we have a couple of fantastic shows coming
up in July.  Friday the 13th at The Cavern will be an AWESOME dance party
with dj $elect.  You can shake your thing 'til you get seriously winded (or drunk),
then stop and gawk at the fabulous Ladies of SHE-DICK!!  Then, exactly one
week later, Friday, July 20th, we will be playing a completely FREE show
(though donations will be accepted) at The Monkey Bar with band Eat Avery's
Bones
and dj Prince William.

AND THEN, on August 25th, at Minc Lounge, we are planning a
FANTABULOUS event (and we do mean event) tentatively-dubbed 'DRAG
PARTY'.  That's right, folks.  She-DICK is joining forces with the art collective
SuperConscious to create the most out of control, electrifying, summer blowout
party Dallas has ever seen!!

We're gonna have a real runway, and every man, woman or whatever who
comes dressed fancy (preferably in a wig and false eyelashes), will get to walk the
stage.  We will have guest performers, make-up artists, burlesque and, of
course, DRAG.  Start planning your outfit now, and get ready to lose your
identity for a night.  It's not a gay thing; it's a 'haaaay' thing.

See ya soon!

That's right.  Dallas' own GLBT newspaper has done a story on the biggest
girl group to come out of these parts since Destiny's Child!  The article was
written by our dear friend Daniel Kusner, and, though he did call us 'skanky', he
has provided us with vital exposure to the homos and homettes of Dallas, Texas.

You can read the article online at:
http://www.dallasvoice.com/artman/exec/view.cgi/73/5557

Or you can run out to newsstands and pick one up for yourself!  We were so
happy that our homegirl Teresa Nasty got photo props, but, unfortunately, there
was no mention of our talented producer, Hansy.  Without Hans HandiKraft,
there would be no SHE-DICK.  He gives us our beats, our bass and makes our
vocals sound lucious.   Thank you, Hansy, for your continued love and support.

XOXO
