I feel like I've been out of the game for a while but am excited about staying in touch with everyone.  I haven't done many concerts lately but I have been singing a lot at my church.  I sing as a cantor and with a praise band.  I hope to put together a women's conference this fall and perform some of my songs for that.  I really love having a reason for getting together with women who want to share there faith and have fun too. 

I also do work here at Icon Music Studio doing background vocals for other christian artists who come here to record and I've been busy doing a lot of that.

Let me know what you think of the new CD.  I hope to get out and do more concerts to promote it this fall.  I'll let you know when those dates come up.  Well that's all for now.

O.K. I know it's been a long time since my last blog.  Thanks Fallon for reminding me.  It's not that I don't want to share what I've been doing, it's just that  I've been so busy in the studio either recording my vocals or managing the studio while my husband is working with and producing other artist's music. I'm glad to say we've had a lot of artists in and out lately.  Well, back to my original thought.  This week I will be tweeking a few minor details on the recording.  I need to do a few more background vocals here and there and then it's time for final mix down.  That should happen sometime next week.  Then I'm off to the next step of finishing the CD.  Until next time!

Hi all,

I wrapped up a photo shoot yesterday and I 'm hyped about the pictures I got.  I posted a sample  CD cover on the site.    Just the mood I was looking for. I'm still working on  getting my lead vocals recorded and then the backing vocals.  Since  I record at  home in my husband's  studio it's a bit of  a challenge hiding from the kids.    With  the constant "Mom I need a drink or something to  eat", I can only  fit in about 2 hrs at a time singing.

I'd like to get all my vocals done in the  next 2 weeks but I have this weird thing going on with my voice. I woke up one morning and had no upper range.  I just lose my sound on the high notes, so needless to say I'm not singing so well.  It would be super great if you could say a quick prayer for my  throat to get better.  Thanks!

I have a new CD coming out at the beginning of 2007 called BACK TO LIFE. I think you'll like it. . that's if you want music that makes you feel GOOD!   Like an ice cream sundae that's good for your health! It's all about never losing sight of the dreams God gives you and having the courage to pursue them.

I'll be posting a few songs from the CD as they get done (or almost done). The two that are posted now are not even completely done yet.  But they're close!
