Today is election day.  Please vote.  You know, I heard a radio DJ say one of the dumbest things... he said, "Vote.  It doesn't matter who you vote for, just vote."  IT DOES MATTER.  As Americans we need to be somewhat informed about to whom we are entrusting ourselves and our country.  We need to educate ourselves about the issues and the politicians running for office. 

Since I was 18 years old I've only missed voting in one election.  November 7, 2000.  The year George Bush got elected.  But, I had a damned good reason for not voting.  I was in Ohio, not Georgia, where I'm registered,  and my father's funeral was that day.  Events such as that are about the ONLY reason I will miss my turn at the polls.  EXERCISE YOUR RIGHT... AND EXERCISE IT RIGHT.  Know what's on the table.
