So I've been down in austin for the last few days collecting myself for the Spring semester. Trying to figure out where I ought to be. The seemingly strange atmosphere of the town never pulls off its cover. It happens quickly here, without warning and without extensive speculation or consideration; it just fucking happens. I'm sleeping on the living room with the cat and the dog. Jeremy's alarm has been brewing up a cauldron of noise but sleep is the area of expertise for him. Last night the Cartright guys kind of came over and we had contest going on to see who bleeds the most. I had drank a lot of coffee and I knew I was at an unfair advantage but ben and joe beat me needless to say. I passed out and was awoken throughout the night by a beast with terrible claws who wanted to scratch my whiskers and perch on my hair and/or belly.
Everytime I come to this town I always find new and different aspects of it. this is the first extended stay for me and usually I've already left by this point. Yesterday all I had left to eat were two cup-o-sodiums and I broken down and went to HEB. Tomorrow I'm going to Houston for a two days I'll be back on Saturday late evening. I tempted to just go back to austin after Houston, but I've got to get back to my life in Arlington. I think I may have the beginnings for a new song I can feel it. ad when its there you'll know it I'll make you know it.
