The spookiest night of the year is growing ever closer and we have a new fun contest for you to help celebrate.

We want to see you at your scariest!

Just send us a picture of you dressed up in your favourite Vivien creation, fit for Halloween to be in with a chance of winning £100 worth of Vivien of Holloway vouchers.

We're going to be posting all our favourites on our flickr and the winner will have her picture posted on the homepage!

To celebrate (the original sex kitten) Brigitte Bardot's 75th birthday the town of Boulogne Billancourt, near Paris, is playing host to an exhibition dedicated to her "Carefree Years" or "Les Annees Insouciance" if you want to impress your friends.

Anyway, the big news is that all the hostesses at the exhibition will be sporting Vivien of Holloway Pink Gingham Dresses. Swoon! A meeting of this much glamour might cause some kind of implosion, but we're willing to take our chances.

Now might be the time to grab yourself a Pink Gingham number, and affect a Parisian accent, as the exhibition starts on September 29th and runs through to January 2010

Think you have what it takes to be a Vivien of Holloway pin up?We’re looking to add to the Vivien of Holloway pin up girl team. Fancy having a poster of yourself dressed in a fabulous Vivien frock hanging in pride of place in the soon to open store on Holloway road? You’ll get to take part in a professional photoshoot, have your hair and make up done and keep the outfit too!
Interested?All you have to do is email us a picture of you, pulling your most glamorous pose in your favourite Vivien outfit (make sure we can see you and the dress!) with your contact information, dress size and a couple of lines about yourself. We have some fantastic new editions to our store; first is our brand new 1940s red satin blouse.

The elegant fabric means that it can be worn in the daytime to spice up any outfit, or in the evening for some vintage hollywood glamour.

It has slightly puffed sleeves which adds structure to the shoulders, a contrasting piping which runs across the yoke, pocket and cuffs. It also has 6 darts across the front to give a more tailored fit to your gorgeous body!

1940s floral dress

For all of you lovers of floral dresses we have finally listed all our fabulous 1940s floral dresses.
