Friday night there was a tragic and unforseen accident which claimed the life of Gayl Bertagni, one of the owners of the Swiss in Tacoma! Over the years we have come to know and love Gayl as a friend and as one of the most enduring and well respected business owners in the community.

The unfortunate accident leading to such a devistating conclusion has left us all in shock and we would like to extend our best wishes to everyone who has been affected by this tragedy! Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of you!

As you may know by now the Fabulous Firwood in Fife has met with a devastating fire early this morning and we are absolutely in shock! The Firwood has been a landmark in Fife for well over 80 years. It has been a supporter of live music and a place for everyone to have fun. To see it gone in an instant is nearly unbearable!

We would like to send our condolences to Hyon and his family for the loss of such a great establishment and for all the hard work, heart and soul they put into making it such a great place to be for everyone!

 The Firwood will not be forgotten!
