First, sorry about the Gretsch contest logo...I can't seem to remove it.

Anyway;

That's right boys and girls It's that time again.  The Juke Joint All stars will be engaging in their annual jump fest Tuesday March 31 at the Hut 345 N. 4th Ave. The show starts at 8pm and only costs $5.  That's plenty early enough for those that have to work the next day.  Every time we do it more and more people show up so we must be doing something right.  Let's keep the trend going.  If you've never been, the Hut is a way cool venue with a great stage and sizable  dance floor.  As the name implies it's a huge quonset  hut done up in tiki style.  Kind of reminds me of an officers club on some south pacific island from WW II.  It does a great job of setting the mood for our brand of jump, swing and blues with an ample dose of the music of the late great Wynonie Harris. The All Stars are truly that, members of the Arizona Blues Hall of Fame and the Tucson Musicians Museum and a piano player voted Europe's best blues and boogie piano player.  Namely, Juke Joint Johnny Strasser, Eric-Jan Overbeek (Mr. Boogie Woogie), Steve Grams, Hurricane Carla Brownlee, Alex Flores, Blake Matthies and Marx B. Loeb III. Please join us  and be sure to bring a friend.
Thanks and Love,
Juke Joint Johnny Strasser
