The Sci-Files comes to it's conclusion, with perhaps the best installment yet.

ASC - Epiphany

A techno-esque intro leads the way into glitchy sporadic drums, as the cold distant pad fades in.  The warm bass surrounds the track, as layers of atmosphere combine and take the track to new heights.  A 165bpm trip into space, with definite leanings to early Warp Records 90's techno.

ASC - Defiant To The End

Defiant To The End is exactly that.  If ever a track were to be chosen as an example of non-conformity, then this would be it.  An overall dark mood ascends, and before you know it, you are up to your neck in it.  The mood gets denser as the track progresses, and light comes into the picture at points, but this one is all about the exploration of the deepest reaches.  Deep space hypnosis.

What you have here are two tracks that really push the boundaries and sound as unique as can be.  If you like your drum & bass with a huge helping of originality, then you can't go wrong with these two offerings.
