What a night to remember. If never I was, I am proud to be an 'merican. The whole world was 'merican for a few hours. God bless 'merica.

... So, last night Ethan and I DJ'd a serious private party. I don't know where to begin. I heard that it was a 'sexy' party  and me and a friend were talking shit about swingeres parties and what not. I had untill last night, been to one S+M party in Chicago and to a couple of seedy gay bars... Last night was over the top. When I arrived @ the party around midnight there was a pretty even girl to boy ratio. Most of the crowd was naked, covered in dayglo body paint. There was a couple of boys getting sucked off at the 'twinky matress' that was located about 20 feet from the DJ booth. the back room and dark room were complete orgies. After I started playing, I missed out on the vouyer games and tried my hardest to elevate the party through sound synthisis. I pulled out some gems. There was something pleasing about beating 'Hear Me Calling' by Macho, and, 'Castro Boy' by Danny Boy and the Serious Party Gods, to a room full of 'children'(mostly), if you catch my drift. There was sex on the dance floor (mostly gay oral). I feed off this raw energy and thought for a second that Ronnie was channelling his divine energy from the Heavens into the system. it was an intense energy. The kind that takes a special type of person to harness. I thing the crowd was appreciative to hear their music. There is something to be said when straight culture appropiates aspects of gay culture. I am part of night culture which is all encompassing.  What I am trying to say, is that I felt like, I had bought the music back to it's rightfull place. The crowd melted when I played Patrick Crowley's 'Mind Warp', interupting it, to beat ' Right On-Be Free' by the East Harlem Choir befor slamming back into 'Mind Warp' for the breakdown and chant. Ethan had some clever programming, with- 'Shoot Me' by Tasha Thomas into the male vocal version of 'Is It All Over My Face' by Loose Joints. We tried our hardest to bend the genre's and shape the moods of the party over all. It was alot like being in that art house male porn classic- 'A Night at (Fred) Halsted's', or 'Faces', another completely twisted gay porn from the early 80's. Both films have amazing soundtracks by the way. It was a complete success.   My goal was met when I walked out the door into Sunday morning's light. The next one should be a hoot, for surely!!! I'll try to compile a set list this week. Get out to Zebulon this Thursday night for a special 'Space and Time' mix at my new monthly party. The party will focus on cosmically consciousness musics of the universe. See you soon!!!

I have decided to open up my magic box of soundscapes and compositions for the first twelve inch release from SSPS @ the end of July on Avant God. Here is the first candidate, "The Deceptive Eye". is too long to put in the myspace player so I have decided to start posting new tracks in my blog. This track was first performed @ Home Sweet Home on 30 April, 2008, for the party entitled "Wierd". It is by far the best night in the north east. Check out Wierd Records on my front page if you are in the least bit interested in real synth rock , bat cave, or whatever term you fancy.

... First off, I want to welcome the newest members into our Secret Society of the Pyramid Snake...

My studio computer crashed and I lost all of my old projects that were in the works. The flip side to losing all of my recordings, is to work with a clean slate. Besides, most sequences are backed up. I must begin to transfer the 72 to 12 hour CDrom over again thus, I am putting it on the back burner. Don't worry, the cassette recordings are not going anywhere. There are other projects that require more attention. The Pyramid Snake is moving forward, recording the follow up record. Version One of "Double Life" will be appearing in the next issue of K48. SSPS TWO is in production and should be available in mid to late summer. the future holds upcoming SSPS shows in Chicago and NYC and EXCEPTER appearances in Mass.@MIT, and Montreal. More later.
