We played Hudson, NY and Montreal last weekend and are getting ready for Oslo, Amsterdam, Helsinki, and Gothenburg the week of thanksgiving. We're still recovering from major bangovers.


The first couple shows were exceptionally fun and felt hauntingly like VAUX on stage even though we are performing Melissa's songs.

VAUX is a tragic story. One of true hope and love, of letdowns and broken hearts. We saw and accomplished amazing things. We sacrificed our love at home. We lost control and slid off the highway. We drug our gear through the dirt and mud. We were in fist fights. We Bled. We drove from East to West. Countless hours in a van that was much too small, with six best friends. We slept on strangers' floors. We slept on the side of the highway. We made restaurants in the next city our meccas. We cheated. We stole. We cried and rejoiced. We spent our days in the blistering sun. We spent our nights in the freezing cold. We were ridiculed, critiqued and praised. Edited, and edited. We were cheated and betrayed. We were stolen from and threatened. We were left with no options. We took everything we could. We made every precious second worth it. We created beauty. We laid waste. We destroyed and were destroyed. Sweat, stink, dirt, burns, cuts, smashed fingers. We were electrocuted and fell from exhaustion. Seen the best the world has to offer. Attention all you Vauxians.  If you are in Califonia please checkout Ride The Boogie on one of the upcoming California Tour dates.  The debut album is out.  In digital format it is available at your favorite digital music retailer.  We have physical copies available through www.myspace.com/ridetheboogie and we will also have them for the tour.
