Still House Hunting
I NEED A RENTAL!!!

Repost, forward, tell your friends...hell, tell your enemies too.

Preferably in the city, SFV is fine too. Around a grand or less a month.

I have 2 dogs (one young yellow lab who is quite possibly the sweetest dog to ever live, and one very old boston terrier who mostly just sleeps and farts), and 3 cats (all indoor, spayed females and totally and completely spoiled). All the animals are better behaved than most people - and better house-trained too. I am also well-trained in keeping up after them.

I am less interested in the amenities of the neighborhood, complex, etc. than I am in finding a comfortable, pet friendly home. Soon. Sheesh.

"As a video response to Bjork - All is full of love --- it's bollox. not even a vid, just a bunch of mono stills. If the intent was to be 'arty' then it failed(with me) as it came over as a masked rapist with a tart, not really 'full of love' . Looking at this posters other content, I wonder if he is the rapist, sure seems like he could be. Low-life scumbag."

"When I was a child I spoke as a child I understood as a child I thought as a child; but when I became a man I put away childish things." I Cor. xiii. 11.

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, I am pleased to announce to you...the death of Nick Strathern. I have decided to put him away because as those of you that really do know me have noticed...he never really existed. The name was just a name that I was messing around with a while ago (and even changing emails to show Nick Strathern) but at the same time was meeting industry folk and the name reached more people that I intended. I decided to go along with it and even created a persona along with the name....that lasted not too long. I saw that it was much more effective to just go ahead and do what I do best, which is go ahead and do me. The creativity was my own all along and the person people talked to was me the name just became a label for me and it became a bit silly to be honest. Some will ask what will happen will people still see me as just Nick Strathern...well no one ever said "Hey, arent you Nick Strathern?" in fact the greeting I received was "Hey, arent you Erebus?" so I am not worried about that. Another reason I am putting Nick to rest...Nick Strathern can't cash checks lol.

"there was this guy who lived many different lives...each one so very different from the other. He chose to take upon one life and see it through, but little did he know that the other lives would get jealous. Little by little all the aspects of the other lives began to take over and create a new entity unlike the rest. When all aspects of all lives conjoined to one he looked in the mirror...when his eyes focused he realized....he went full circle and became himself once again."

That was written by me, not Nick Strathern my emotions and thoughts are in all that...not Nick Strathern.

As for what my plans are right now...well I am going to be reorganizing myself and doing that which really is important right now. The past year I have moved forward and have met quite a few more people and have worked on some decently sized projects. However of the projects that I haved worked on that have had budgets I cannot say when they will be released. Through no fault of my own or the people that I worked closely with those projects are awaiting release and no one knows when that will happen. Funny how the projects that had little (under $500) to no budget have been the ones that I am more known for, not the ones that were over $10,000...

Creativity is not learned, it is realized.

Please forgive me for being so rude here I am typing about who I am and who I am not and at no point did I really introduce myself...

My name is Pat Flores, pleasure to meet you.

Brett Hunt offered 6-figure deal to star in "Forbidden Fruit" movie, Hollywood, CA

Hollywood, CA, September 9, 2008: Actor Brett Hunt has become a silent force in the industry over the last year. Like a caterpillar in its cocoon, he has been busy metamorphosing into a highly sought-after and well respected actor. While many movie aficionados may not know him just yet for the simple reason that his many movies are currently in post production (or currently filming), be sure that when this butterfly finally emerges and his movies are released, all will stand and take notice of Brett Hunt's acting abilities. He has such a wide acting range and really gets inside of each character. As such, Brett Hunt has been approached by many studios and producers to star in their next movie projects.

Brett Hunt's next project, in which he has been offered a 6-figure deal and the leading role of Sky Peterson, is called "Forbidden Fruit," a hilarious new comedy from writer/producer Jeff Madsen. The story: When an accident happens at the nearby sexual enhancement chemical plant, the chemical waste gets dumped into the Boyd's Apple Orchard irrigation ditch, causing all of their apples to become very special and very potent. When word gets out, all kinds of crazy things start to happen to the townsfolk who eat these apples. The film is produced by Jeff Madsen Productions.

Here are a few examples of Brett Hunt's most recent movie projects, leading up to his 6-figure deal for "Forbidden Fruit" –

• "The Cost of Living," a hilarious new comedy from writer/producer Jeff Madsen about a hitman who is new on the job and can't quite seem to finish off his target. Brett Hunt stars as George Pomeroy. The film is produced by Jeff Madsen Productions, in association with producer Mark Valinsky, and directed by Veronica Craven.

• "Angels & Demons," the long-awaited prequel to "The Da Vinci Code," which is being directed by Ron Howard and starring Tom Hanks, Ewan McGregor, and Ayelet Zurer. Brett Hunt plays Father Murphy, one of the clergy members at the Vatican.

• "The Telling," a horror/thriller that is being produced by Bridget Marquardt and Chuck Williams (both from "Girls Next Door," Playboy's hit reality TV show). Fellow "Girls Next Door" star Holly Madison also has a starring role in "The Telling," while Brett Hunt is co-starring. The movie is being produced by Chuck Williams Productions, Breakout Entertainment, Prometheus Entertainment and Alta Loma Entertainment.

Once "Forbidden Fruit" is finished, Brett Hunt's next major projects are "Kontrast," a dark and emotional drama about life and consequences, "Zombie King," a new zombie horror/thriller from writer/director Veronica Craven, and "Wicked Karma," a new thriller from writer/director Chris Silva about a serial killer who pits the cops against another serial killer in a game of cat and mouse. Brett Hunt has been offered starring roles in each movie.

Having only lived in Los Angeles, CA for one year, Brett Hunt is doing quite well and his fans are all very excited to see how his career will continue to grow and blossom over the next year. Brett Hunt has been described by many as the 'rising actor' we all need to keep our eyes open for. He has also greatly inspired many of his fellow actors, especially those who have been trying for years to make it in Hollywood. While he may make it look easy, the reality is that being an actor is hard work and requires great dedication, perseverance, and gut instinct decisions. When it comes to Brett Hunt, he's the hardest working new actor this town has seen in a while. He's making it happen and we are all excited to see what he'll do next.

New Feature Film "The Cost of Living" currently being filmed in the greater Seattle area!

"The Cost of Living," a hilarious new comedy from writer/producer Jeff Madsen, is filming in Seattle, Everett and Edmonds, WA on August 11th through 30th.  The story: When an elderly couple runs into some financial troubles, and their only way out is death or living on the streets, George (Brett Hunt) plots a clever life insurance scam behind his wife's (CC Perkinson) back… one that ensures their son will never have to work again, and one that will surely solve the couple's problems, permanently.  George hires a hitman (Azmyth Kaminsky) to target himself and his wife and make it look like and accident.  However, what he doesn't know might not kill him.  Brett [the hitman] is still very new at the job, and really isn't very good at killing people yet, often failing quite miserably and somehow hurting himself during his many attempts.  As this wacky comedy of errors ensues, will Brett ever manage to finish the job?  Or will George's clever scam be discovered?  The film co-stars Ashley Hoyle and features the talents of Chuck Williams, Mark Valinsky, Mike Ricker and Bryan Gallinger.  The film is produced by Jeff Madsen Productions and directed by Veronica Craven.

The main producers are all from the greater Seattle area. Jeff Madsen (writer/producer) has over 25 years experience with video production and began his own Seattle-based production company in 1984.  Brett Hunt (lead actor/producer), while relatively new to the entertainment industry, is originally from Renton, WA and has exploded over the past 12 months, landing roles in dozens of mainstream TV shows, Feature Films and Major Motion Pictures.  Robert Legend (producer/comedian) is also from Renton, WA and now lives in Los Angeles, CA. Bryan Gallinger (producer/actor/musician), owner of Grassroots Network was born in Puyallup, WA raised in Hoquiam, WA and finished HS/college back in Puyallup, WA; has had over 15 years experience in film, TV, music and event production in addition to performing as a musician and TV personality.

Madsen, Hunt, Legend and Gallinger are extremely excited about producing a feature film in their own backyard.  Each of them has their own similar visions/goals on building the Seattle entertainment scene back into a significant region.  "I am trying to create an environment that people can make way more and larger movies again in the Seattle area.  Seattle has taken a serious dive over the last decade and we need to get back to filming consistent and quality movies here!" – Madsen.  "I'm very excited. This is the 2nd film that I've produced in Seattle and really enjoy filming here and working with my hometown folks." – Hunt.  "Seattle is such a beautiful city. I love filming here and getting to see some old friends too." – Legend. "I believe that Seattle is full of incredibly talented people both on and behind-screen.  We just need to mentally power through the struggling economy and work as an army together to continue producing film/music/art or whatever media projects that stimulate and inspire people to live a better life!"  – Gallinger.

Current mood:  focused
just what exactly have I been up to lately...well to be honest I have been going through some major adjustments and have been moving forward with what I want to do. Lets start off with why I have not had any new photos up other than what looks like concept development photographs and movie posters. Well the easy answer is because I AM doing movies...I am working alongside some great people and really making Erebus Films & Photography a more well known entity in the movie world. Lets start with the new project that I am working on which is The Cost of Living, where I personally am the production manager with help from my crew and as you can see in the prelim poster which is my default Erebus Media is one of the main production companies involved. As a side note, yes Erebus Films & Photography is expanding its horizons and becoming more of a media empire. On this film I will be working with Black Squirrel Films and will be starring Brett Hunt, Chuck Williams, CC Perkinson and Azmyth Kaminsky. I will be flying out on Saturday, July 26th to Seattle and will begin filming on the 28th.
But before we go too far into the new lets backtrack a bit and talk about my last project....Loved Ones. There is so much to say about Loved Ones and the experiences that came from it that honestly that is a whole blog onto itself. Working such long hours and doing so many scenes in one day as crazy as it sounds made me feel really good. Knowing that I am busting my ass and in some photos you can see how I look that I am falling over from being so sleepy and yet still hustling out the shots...wow...if it wasnt for the cohesive unit that we were, there is no way Loved Ones couldve been made. From working on Loved Ones and now going back to Washington State I know I have people that I can rely on to help make a great movie. From the actors to the PAs and to one of the most amazing makeup artists I have come to meet I am very happy to say that I will be working with some of them once again. Loved Ones is currently in post production, stay tuned for more Loved Ones developments.
Ok back on track with the new projects...after The Cost of Living some of the crew will be working with Chuck Williams and Bridget Marquardt for the movie The Telling which is a horror anthology and will feature Kendra and Holly as well. Erebus Media as a company is not involved with the project but Brett Hunt is one of the actors and Teresa Ousley is the executive assistant to one of the top producers.
Next project lined up for Erebus Media after this one...well at the moment were are in the developmental stages for (drumroll please...) Mangled Angels. The very project that brought me together with Brett Hunt and Robert Legend will have its day on the silver screen.
Well for right now this all the information that I can give in regards to whats next (damn lawyers and their legal jargon) for Erebus Media in regards to movies but rest assured that I have not given up and am still very much so doing what I always wanted to do.

As for the photography....well right now its taking a bit of the backseat but I will be releasing some more socially aware concepts soon. I thank you all for all the support you have given me and dont be shy, drop me a line, let me know how you are doing....
