It's Stan Lee! And he's being born! On a postcard! Buy one for your own, personal use, or buy a six-pack and send one to a friend or family member. Maybe you even send one to a stranger who then falls in love with you. The future is yours!

If you hate paper as much as, for the purposes of this email it’s convenient for me to assume you do, you’ll be excited to hear that our second Truth Serum book, The Lonely Parade is now available for the Kindle. That’s right, no more having to flip pages or worry about lending your copy to an incontinent friend. You can read the entire book electronically, minus all the tactile pleasures associated with the print version. You know, things like color and this perforated fold-out form that cost a lot of money to produce. Best of all, The Lonely Parade is 42 times cheaper than the Kindle!

The Rob Walton-illustrated story (penned by Mr. Jon Adams) from Top Shelf's Awesome 2 Awesomer anthology (which happens to be in store right now) has been posted in its entirety. It features several Disney characters discussing the basics of copyright.

There are even cameos by He-Man, Hello Kitty, Bart Simpson and Slimer of Ghostbusters fame. Enjoy: http://citycyclops.com/7.09.09.php

Saturday, June 6th is the day all your dreams will come true. Assuming you have only one dream, and that dream is to meet Jon Adams. And assuming you'll be in New York City attending MoCCA, because that's where Jon will be, probably spending most of his time around the Indie Spinner Rack table.

Also, debuting at MoCCA will be Top Shelf and Indie Spinner Rack's Awesome 2: Awesomer anthology, which Jon designed. It's 208 pages of comics with a Jeff Smith cover and mini comic inside. And if you're determined enough, the whole thing is edible.

In celebration of the one-year anniversary of the Truth Serum webcomic, several artists with nothing better to do have joined together to create guest strips for one week, beginning April 1st. Those contributing their varied and unimitable talents include J. Chris Campbell, Al Columbia, Dave Johnson, Sean Murphy, and Rob Walton. (A new strip will appear each day whether you want it to or not. Sorry, mom.)

Join us at http://citycyclops.com for a week of comics and a week of forgetting about things so awful you'll probably black them out anyway.

For those of you grief stricken by being single on Valentine's Day,
we've got a full-page, full-color activity in Saturday's San Francisco
Chronicle. Make and date your own paper-doll-lover!

If you're in the Bay Area, pick up a copy of today's SF Chronicle for the full-page comics and activity page we did in the Date Book section. It's stuffed to the brim with drawings, games and newsprint. Filthy newsprint that will get all over your fingers, and then when you touch your face, will leave a smudge mark you walk around with all day as passersby stare at you. Fun! Happy holidays!

Our new, full-color book is finally available online. If you don't get one, someone else will. Someone named Satan. Is that what you want to happen?

We've also got a new t-shirt about underwear, and a mini comic about some sort of thing named Happy Hardway.

Each of these is sure to make a perfect gift his holiday season. Another perfect gift would be a dolphin, for me.

More details here.

We'll be attending the Alternative Press Expo this weekend (Nov. 1st-2nd). Please come by to say "hi" and see us sit at a table where we try to trick people into buying things.

Debuting at the show will be a limited edition collection of the weekly Truth Serum strip, produced exclusively for APE. It's a full-color, 48-page book, wrapped with a bellyband. Also at the show will be Bear Trap, a full-color, 24-page miniature comic. And it will only be one dollar.

Read a little more about it.
