At last. We made it.

It seems like it. It smells like it. It even feels like it.

It certainly does.

The Hellenic Culture Organization (Ministry of Culture, Greece) decided to play the game right and publish a magazine ["P"], a bilingual (english plus greek) freezine to be exact, about Arts and Culture, about Thessaloniki and North Greece. About people likes us, doing the things we luv doing, thinking the same way we do and speaking the same language we sing along to.

Yeah, that feels good.

And they picked me to do the editing.

So here I am, in my brand new boombastic office, in front of my new splendid pc, surrounded by hundreds of files to be looked through...

Starting to pick the new contributors, who they will be...so many to pick from and give secret roles to. So much to be said and done.

Yeah it definately feels good.

Even my morning coffee tastes better.

Something is starting to move again in this city, and it ain't just my foot moving to the beat. Now I know.

Go. [Soon also online]

First issue out on June 1st.

This month's special magical incredients: Alan Fletcher, Stergios Delialis [Design Museum of Thessaloniki], supporting the 3rd International Conference on Typography and Visual Communication. And more.

I just want more.

The city was gorgeous last night. As it always is, weird and gorgeous in the dark.
And I was invited to a huge private b-day party downtown.

Too many bottles of Barollo, too much finger food, too many Kamikazi shots, too many gals in their late twenties looking in their lady like dresses like 40 year olds, too many silent boys and too many similar discussions and almost boring small talks later, finally the b-day gal, bored to the bone, called it a night. And finally the real night could begin among the closest of friends.

That was when the night started moving fast.

And a bit after six, he, the handsome boy with the grey hair behind his ears and the black shirt, the city's probably youngest industrial designer, asked me to go watch the sun rise with him.

I did.
With plastic cups, filled by our favourite bartender with mojito, we sat right next to the shore, as if we were seventeen again.

I love this city, he whispered suddenly. It took me 30 years to realize it and it's gonna take five lifetimes for this to be undone, but it seems I had to come and go, leave and return to feel it. Beautiful things will soon happen and we will be here to watch them as they shall unfold.

And so, as the sun began to rise in a background that instantly became the big and only picture, he stole to my surprise my words...

A lovelee daee, almost summer. Feels and smells just like it.

Rode nine kilometers with my Specialized MTB just to see the sun above the sea -for a few minutes only, then I got bored- and drink a cold coffee at the seaside.

Now I am exhausted, on my couch, hungry but with no strength to get up and cook anything worth the trouble, so I am reading the book I bought on my way home, trying to forget my gurgling belly. Everyman by Philip Roth.

Amazing black cover. At last a black one.
Like a confession, like death, like guilt, like patience. Words I love to hate and pretend to trully fear, until I genuinly do.

The dog is sleeping next to me. I wonder what it would be like to be like him. To feel and understand but to not know.

Gawd, I am so hungry I am beginning to see him as a bunch of chicken nuggets. I gotta order something.
With a bit of luck that cute delivery boy will come over.
What more can a gal ask for, I wonder, but a cutie pie with a huge and still warm portion of gorgeous spaghetti
frutti di mare in his hands, just for me.
