Current mood:  imaginative

So I'm sitting here thinking " What can I do to better promote myself?"

Well this is what I figure..... The people that come to your site and listen to your music would have a better idea than I would. right????

Well with that being said..... I would love to hear your ideas whether brilliant or just drunkenly insane! This industry is crazy and short of going to prison for murder or dating Paris Hilton (deciding which is better), getting noticed is a bitch!!!!

So please send me some ideas and suggestions so I can become the drunken degenerate musician I always hoped to be!!!!

Thank you for your support!

Alright, seems like its been a while since I did one these but here it is.

What's new? Well as most already know we have the CD done and released. If you don't have a copy then just bounce back a screen to our Myspace homepage and you'll see the links. Digstation for downloads, CD Baby for the actual CD, and we are on Itunes if thats your poison. Anyway I'm more than happy with the disc and I'm sure you will be too. Just keep a bottle of Jack handy as it adds to the mood :)  Hey some people like wine, I happen to be a little more backwoods!

I also have been writing quite a bit and have a few new songs that we will be getting in the studio and recording soon. Most of you have heard Cougar Snack and Drinking Everybody. I now have Drink You Pretty, Repo Man, Coming Home, and our one ballad The Slide. I'm just as excited about those as I was about the disc so stay tuned.

So feel free to give me a buzz, shoot me an email, send smoke signals, whatever cause I love to hear from ya!

Until next time

Hasta!!

Current mood:  productive

Just a little update on what's going on in the camp.

Been in the studio recording a 5 or 6 song little diddy to throw at the world and see what sticks! Jadon's drum tracks are done, my bass tracks are done, and next week we'll be working on vocals and guitar tracks. Jim Ashley is doing a great job producing and keeping me in check (job by itself).

I'm hoping to have this done and out in February. When that happens, the songs will also be posted and we'll start hitting the road.

Hasta!!

The show last night was pretty intense. Burning Burro's first show, 2 national acts, and Gremlins that I honestly believe were camped out inside Tony's massive bass drum.

Pat Travers goes on without a hitch. I have to give those guys some credit. With limited time to dial in a sound and using Tony's kit, my rig, and some rented amps they nailed it. I was never a big Pat Travers fan but it definitely raised him up in my view. No complaints with those guys whatsoever.

George finally took the stage and was actually pretty damn funny with the stories he was telling. I don't think I'll ever hear enough about drama between him and Don Dokken. Funny shit! We start playing Tooth and Nail and everything was loud, thick, and exactly what it should have been. We get halfway through Mr. Scary and I start smelling smoke and circuit breakers stop popping. George's amp that he had shipped in goes up in smoke and trips the breaker. WTF! So we grab one of the amps that Pat Travers rented. Tone was wrong but screw it we're playing this damn show! We start playing Just Got Lucky and everythings back in tight again and I think we're home free. A couple songs later we had an issue with the mains which I believe may have had something to do with a particular amp wanting to be more of a fog machine and causing spikes in the Livermore grid! So..... It's Not Love is halfway through, I'm screaming my head off so the crowd can hear and said screw it. I turned to George and said SOLO!!!!  The rest of the night was an instrumental which was cool and afterwards everyone was happy. So even with all the Gremlins, I was stoked.

If you have any questions, join the club........ I'm tired!
