So I have started a volunteer where people will spend time playing with kids in a children's long term care facility. Many of these kids are in CPS custody and are meth babies or abused to the point of needing permanent medical help. They get less then 8 hours of play time a week.

My project is to have a day where people come in and spend all day reading to them, doing art projects with them and just playing with them. The project is called Students For Smiles. For you geeks that know what Defcon is my team sudoers got second place in aCTF. We also hacked the highest level (most difficult) box in the competition, level 6. There were over 100 teams that signed up and the team that beat us spent all year preparing for it and we did none. Next year we will actually plan ahead and take first. Hell yeah!

So 7 weird things about me...

1. I looked up the definition of "wierd" when I got tagged so I could post weird things...

1 : of, relating to, or caused by witchcraft or the supernatural : MAGICAL
2 : of strange or extraordinary character : ODD, FANTASTIC

2. While Im not a fan of the witchcraft concept I do believe in some supernatural things. Or maybe they are natural but we just dont understand them yet. For example some people I know when they are going to call or text message me. I think "I should talk to x" I get up, walk to my phone, pick it up and stare at it for a few seconds until it rings with person x calling. This happens to me a couple times a week. Did my subconscious some how deduce they were likely to call or was it supernatural?

3. I could not tell you who my first love is/was Actually Im not really sure I can even tell you what love is at all.

4. My dreams involve or relate to sex almost every night and to me thats fantastic! my tagger never said it had to be facts people wanted to know!

5. Since Jan 2005 I have spent roughly 80 days worth of time playing WoW. I quit for a three month period in there. That averages out to about 5 hours a day of gaming for the last year of my life. This is down from when I used to play FFXI, it used to be 7 hours a day. I am quitting MMOS when I move to phoenix in June.

6. I do not do well spending large amounts of time alone. In fact if I spend a couple nights home alone I get pretty depressed. I am currently living alone but will be moving in with my Brother and his wife in June and am very much looking forward to it!

7. Last Oct I danced naked, upside-down on the worlds most dangerous stripper pole (moving, on fire, wet, etc) in the freezing cold and in front of about 30ish people. There is a video and pictures. I dont regret it.
