He’s sitting in the back of the room wearing Adidas shell-top sneakers, jeans, a plaid shirt, and a classic navy blue Yankees fitted. Nestled in the corner of a fuzzy green couch with a Red Bull on the table in front of him, one of R&B’s bad boys might be a bit exhausted, and a little softer than we think.

Lyfe Jennings is preparing to release his fourth and final album Sooner Or Later by the end of 2009, and he’s eager for the world to hear how he’s juxtaposed rock, R&B, and soul music to make something that reflects the man that he is today.

But be mindful that behind the raspy, mature, soul-filled voice there’s a man with a silent swagger. He’s a charismatic family man that knows how to treat a lady, especially one that’ll laugh at his jokes and is an experienced freak between the sheets.

On Saturday September 19, 2009, the fourth annual Ohio Hip Hop Awards takes place at the Cleveland Convention Center Music Hall. As the first award of its caliber in Ohio, the red-carpet event honors the state's music artists, DJs, break dancers, graffiti writers, promoters, managers, record labels and media that contribute to the area's ever-growing scene.  
Among the nominees representing the Queen City are: DJ Skinny Fresh, DJ Dime Piece, Ill Poetic as Best Producer, MC, Black'Jack; Hip Hop R&B singer, Young Dunny rapper, Khadijah; and Everybody's Records and Shake It as Best Retailers. 
Other nominees include stand-up comedian and Cincinnati native, Katt Williams, and national recording artists, John Legend and Lyfe Jennings.
