We had an amazing time, and would like to thank the following people:

Milwaukee- Kevin, Luke, Chris, Christian, David, Katie, Connor, Jail, Mojomatics, Zach, dude who showed up at the afterhours party with homemade wine, and last but certainly not least, Mike Schank! Danny has never been so interested in macadamia nuts!

Columbus- Guinea Worms, Alex, Dan, the bartender who felt so sorry for us that she comped us a 12 pack of Black Label

New York - Arthur, Corinne, Michael, Marissa, Odie, Mark S., Mark H. and Gretchen, Annie, Ippudo, Pocari Sweat. extra thanks to Mark H. for the free pair of Beatle boots. The highlight of NY,though ,was David breakdancing in front of a deli in Williamsburg at 4:30 in the morning.

New London - Matty, Sebastien, Dave, the killer DJ who spun between and after our sets. No thanks to Ravi Mart for their stinky cooler and giving haji marts a bad name.

Montreal - Bonny's vegi cafe, Boreale Beer, Gauloise cigarettes, Roy, Roy's girlfriend, Danny, Donny, Poutine, singer from band that played the Vice Party, and last but certainly not least Montreal girls.

Toronto - Mark Pesci, Sandy, Jenny, Aprhodite, Hits and Misses records, Gandhi Roti, and last but not least Toronto girls. No thanks to pretentious Japanese dude. Your girlfriend wants to fuck everyone but you.

Detoit - Border officer for actually making jokes and not searching our van, the Magic Stick/Garden Bowl staff for being so accomodating, Jim D., Pat P., Ko, Andy and Patty for being the most amazing hosts a band on the road could hope for, and last but certainly not least Roky Fucking Erickson!

Chicago - White Castle employees for not calling the cops on a crazy Jap and Haji duo, the Empty Bottle staff, Jered, Melissa, Bryan, Nathan, Jim McCan't and Sara, Bill and Lisa, Rob, Joe B, Ryan L., Robert McAsshole, my sister and parents (especially my mom for asking me if 400 people were going to sit on the floor of the Bottle. absolutely adorable!), all of our Chicago friends who I wish we could see more often, and lastly Champ for polishing off my mom's samosas. p.s. Thank you Ponys for asking us to play your '68 comeback show. Sorry about our lame costumes. We are a broke and unimaginative band.

Things that helped us out along the way and would gladly accept a sponsorship deal: Combinations, 5 hour energies, Vitamin Water, and Naked juice/smoothies.

Hope to see all of you soon!

We have a split single with Tiger Bones (formerly Gay Baby) coming out in June on Shitsandwich records.  It's one song from each band and both were recorded by Johnathan Crawford down in Chicago.  It will be the first SS release with their new logo.  Who knew Stiff Record didn't have a sense of humor?  Who knew they were even still around?  The release show is down in Chicago at the Hideout on June 27.

We are going to record an LP in July at Old Blackberry Way with Neil Weir.  It's the same studio that the Replacements recorded Let it Be at...our record will sound nothing like Let it Be.  Looking for something to spend your graduation money on?  A record label is certainly a wiser investment than a college education.

We're on facebook now.  Here's the link to our page:

We are planning a tour for the fall. Suggestions on where we should go are welcome.

Lastly, we are playing two cool shows this weekend.  Friday May 15 at the 331 with Sicbay, and Daughters of the Sun for Art-A-Whirl.  And then on Saturday May 16 at the Triple Rock with King Khan and the Shrines and Mark Sultan!  We are styched (psyched+stoked)!!!!

Get some,

Party Kuma/FHtB

Current mood:  cantankerous

News update:

-A new single will be coming out on Hozac Records in late December or early January.  The a-side is Invisible Angle and the b-side is Grim Trigger.  Hozac has put some great stuff over the last couple of years.  The Medication single that just came out is da sheeeeeeeee-it.  I can't stop listening to the song Don't Die.

-We'll be going down to Chicago soon to record a song for a split 7" with our friends Gay Baby.  Shit Sandwich Records (Marked Men, Tyrades, Headache City) will be putting it out sometime next year.

-We will be going into the studio to record an LP in January or February.

Have a wonderful holiday season!

love,

Party Kuma/FHtB
