...auto playing tracks on my comments, I'll just delete them. Cos it's annoying when other songs start playing and mine are playing too. Sounds like some bad mashups or sumtin! I respect you tring to get your voice heard, but respect the page and give ppl the option to listen or not....

Thanx

Bombay Rokk was "Track of the Day" on Garageband a few months back and now it makes Track of the week! That means starting yesterday Sept.22, it will be featured on Garageband's World Fusion home page for the entire week. This ragga meets raga meets hip-hop track got this reward straight from reviews from the listeners. On Garageband, people can make reviews on your music and help it climb (or drop off) the charts. Personally, I think it can be helpful to get reviews and comments from people who don't know me because it can help help me get a feel for what the public is vibing on. I have learned alot by reading the reviews for my music on Garageband. Big Ups to all those who reviewed this track! Mr. Chatman is a representative of the Worldwide Music Fusion Movement-Ragga, Bhangra, Hip-Hop, Glitch, Dub, Grime…I love it all….Nuff Respects!

Also! For the entire week, Bombay Rokk will be offered as a free mp3 download via the Garageband site. You can get there by clicking on the "Track of the Week" badge below. And hold tite for the upcoming "Marathon Man" release…Fall 08′…Namaste!

The underground collaboration track I had with Montreal based-Ghisalin Poirier (Mic Diplomat) made same noize a couple years ago. It was a selected track for the NBA Live 07' video game and was part of a free EP Download through the Adult Swim TV network alongside heavyweights such as Lady Soverign & Mos Def. And the limited edition 7" vinyl singles sold out like hotcakes. Now the track appears again on a free mix courtesy of Ghislain Poirier and URB-online. The mix is called "Cosmopolitan Bass" and you can check it here at:http://www.urb.com/permalink/3546/Ghislain-Poirier-get-Cosmopolitan-on-free-mix.html

Musical Best 7" single One thing that I’m starting to learn about my music is that it seems to always be ahead of it’s time. Maybe one day my own tastes and the tastes of the public will sync up! Anyways, this single is no exception to that. Recorded in 2001 at the infamous Mr Toad’s studio in San Francisco, this single found me experimenting with “pop” reggae flavors. It was also the only piece of vinyl I released under the Masse-One label. At the time, the single didn’t really sell off and many critics dissed the pop sound of it and said it sounded more like an attempt at R&B than a reggae song. I didn’t (and still don’t) agree with that, but I can admit that at the time I finished it 9/11/01 had just occurred and the world was inna somber state and not really up for the happy, fun time vibes that the song presented. However, nowadays- the song could be more welcomed. It also has the version on the B-side if you just wanna rock to the beat. It will be onsale on Ebay and online retailers soon coming, even with a copy of the original one-sheet I sent out with the song. Old skool vinyl collectors item fe real! LIMITED TO 150 COPIES. If you’re interested in a copy before I put it for sale online, just hollar at me. I’ve also included a link to the song (it’s on my Soundclick page) right here for previewing…. Good times Gwaan!!
