My handsome hubby, James, of AzSustainability. com is featured in an article on page A8 of the AZ Republic today talking about Carbonrally. com.

You can read the article online here but I really recommend you get the printed version. There is a subliminal message in the photo for
strawberry hedgehog and he's just one handsome devil worth seeing. muahaha. ;c)

If you want to join the AZ Team on Carbonrally click here.

Hi everybody,

Would you be willing to personally donate $1 right now ? Let me explain.

In 4 months from now, my good friend Britney Brimhall is embarking on a 3,500 mile bicycle journey across Central America. She is doing this to honor fallen police officers and fire fighters, to raise money for their families, to help those seriously injured be rehabilitated, and to outfit police and firemen with proper gear to protect them on the job.

Her goal is to raise $50,000 by the end of February of 2009.

She is asking everyone, who is interested in helping, to donate $1. I'd appreciate it if you could ask your family and friends, strangers, enemies, acquaintances, classmates, coworkers, foreign exchange students, pets, and anyone else you can think of to do the same. EVERYONE can afford to donate $1 to those in need, and if 50,000 people can do this, we've met the goal and can help a lot of people. If each of you can ask your own friendship circle to donate $1 as well, the money raised will grow exponentially, and we can make a positive change in the world because of it.

Britney has personally donated thousands of dollars to this cause as well as months of her life and a load of blood, sweat and tears.

Please donate $1 (if you're feeling more giving, that's totally cool, too) and then ask others to donate, too! I want to see how much we can raise as a team, each doing a small part to make a greater whole.

Thanks guys!

You can donate online RIGHT NOW at www. firstgiving. com/herosquest2008

Or privately message me, and I can send you her contact information, so you can send a nice crisp bill.

THANKS!

PS.

If you'd like to learn more about the ride, please visit:

PPS.

If you know of any businesses that may be interested in donating more as a corporate sponsorship, please do let me know how to get in touch with them!

PPPS. Another idea is pulling your own bikes out of the garage, boycotting the gas prices, and donating the money saved during the week that you rode your bike.

PPPPS.

The Back Rub Company is donating proceeds from massages between June 20-26th to this cause for the 100 Club.

The super secret your parents never wanted you to know... Shrinky Dinks can be made out of any plastic fruit or veggie container!!!!!  I just made my own awesome shrinky dink pendant. This is a super fun recycling project. Just take your old plastic veggie containers (berry and sprouts containers work great). Cut out a piece that will be flat, decorate it with permanant markers, punch a hole or two in it so you can hang it from something and show it off then pop it in a 250 degree oven for a few minutes. Keep an eye on it and smash it down with a spatula if it starts to curl up.

How did I go 26 years without knowing this?! Shrinky dink paper costs a fortune and this is a good way to reuse and go from trash to treasure. Yay!

If you save up your berry containers we should get together and have a shrinky dink party. I love being such a dork :c)

buy my soap, wash your hands, kill some germs.

"Resistant staph infections are a significant problem in Arizona and throughout the nation," says Mary Ann Yahl, president of APIC Chapter 88 and manager of Infection Prevention and Control at Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa, AZ. Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) is not just a problem of hospitals.

This gal ordered some goodies from me a while back and I just received her feedback. It is always so nice to hear that things work well for people. I believe in my products so whole-heartedly and it is so reassuring to hear about it when they go over so well for my customers. :c) Hooray!

"I got my order a couple of days ago. I love everything I've tried. The body butter is heavenly. I have really dry skin and its just excellent stuff. It calms my skin down from itching, and leaves it silky smooth, and smelling pretty without smelling too strong either.  I love the soaps, they all smell so good. I tried the Grapefruit bergomot one first, its great. I've tried other natural soaps before and they tend to fall apart pretty quickly, yours hasn't. My favorite thing so far is the lavender face lotion. I've noticed that especially with this product and the lip balm, but really with everything I've tried; a little goes a long way.  My make-up goes on so smooth on top of it, and it smells good, its tingly refreshing, and not at all greasy. I've also tried a couple of lines of truly natural skin care, and I usually get smelly, chuncky, greasy mess of stuff. Your product is infinitely superior to what I've tried in the past. I'm really looking forward to the new totes and shirts coming out. I'll be visiting your site often. Thank you for all you do and the integrity that you do it with.

So Excellently Satisfied,
Jenny"

... now to just post this on my website comments section and make some more products! Wooooo!
