FIGURES:

Can you do a single figure?  Yes, single figures, family toppers, kids only, you name it.
How long does it take to make a cake topper?  It typically takes me about 2-4 weeks of full time work.

Can you do vehicles or other props?  Yes, the larger props will be an extra charge, please contact us for a
quote.

Will it look exactly like us?  I do the best that I can to get a likeness; this does not mean that they will look
exactly like you.  Keep in mind, if there aren't many pictures provided to me it is harder to get a likeness.  The
figures are meant to be caricatures, so they may be exaggerated or cartoon-like, not realistic.

What are the figures made of?  Polymer clay with a wire and foil armature.  I also use epoxy the appendages.  I
use various brands of polymer clay including, but not limited to Sculpey Premo, ProSculpt, Cernit and Fimo.  I also
use embellishments that include the tiniest of glass marbles, wire, and glass gems.  I do use Swarovski crystals
when I can, but they are not as small as the tiny glass gems I have found.

What are other uses for a topper?  Figurines are a great gift for the people you care about.  A cake topper is
great for an anniversary, a birthday, a commitment ceremony.  A family topper or a topper of grandkids for a
grandparent would also make a wonderful gift.  Any time you need an extra special gift a topper/figurine would
work great and is sure to be a hit!

Is the sculpture fragile?  Yes it is, but polymer clay is very durable plastic-like clay.  It can withstand quite a lot
but it is still possible for it to break.

How much does it weigh?  Approximately one pound.

What size is the base of the topper?  Usually 7" at the widest part, for a single figure it would be smaller, but
most bases do not exceed 7".

Are there different options for the base?  Yes, The bases I use are wood, therefore they can be stained or
painted any color.  If you want something special on the base or a particular shape just ask.  I use rectangle oval
and circular bases most of the time.  I choose the base that I feel compliments the sculpture.

Do you provide a glass dome?  At this time we do not provide glass domes.

 PAYMENT

What types of payment methods do you accept?  Paypal, personal checks and money orders.

What does a topper cost?  For a couple it's $850 and a single person is $400.  If you have something different
or special in mind please contact us for a quote.  Check the ordering page for more information.

What if I don't have the dress, or any details of my wedding?  As long as you get the details to me about 6
weeks before your topper should be done it's fine.  If I don't have the information when the time is approaching I
will send a reminder via email.

Can you send pictures of the work in progress?  Not usually, time is pretty tight when I am working on the
toppers.  If you really want me to you can request it and I will try to do what I can.

How soon should I reserve my topper?  3-6 months seems to be a good time frame, but anything longer that
is fine too.  It never hurts to ask!

What kind of pictures do you need?  I need a variety of photos and you will have a photo guideline sheet to
help you.  It's best if you take pictures specifically for this purpose.  I also like to see a couple of candid photos as
well; it gives me an idea of your personality.

What if my order is a gift and I don't have many pictures?  That is fine, but just remembers that the degree
of likeness depends greatly on the photos I have.

What if there are changes after I sent the information?  Just let me know as soon as you can when changes
occur.  It is not a problem if the topper has not been started, and if it has I can try to do what I can.

SHIPPING:

How do you ship? Toppers are wrapped in foam, tightly packed in a 12"x12" box surrounded by more rigid
foam.  From there I pack that box into a 16"x16" box filled with foam pellets.  The package is light, but secure and
large.  Therefore shipping costs go up.  I also like to ship overnight and by air when possible.  This reduces the
amount of people handling the package.  When possible I will use California Overnight, otherwise I will be using
USPS EXPRESS.  This can take 3 days.  If you would like to get your package sent overnight I am happy to, you will
be responsible for the extra shipping costs.

What happens if something breaks?  If it's something minor it can be fixed with various types of glue.  If this
happens please contact us and we will help you figure out what the best choice is and walk you through a repair.
Now, if your topper arrives broken please contact us immediately.  Hopefully that will not happen but we always
fully insure our packages.  We can decide the course of action from there, either a repair or a refund.  As I said
before, they are packed very well and hopefully that will not ever happen.
