1. Go to MySpace Schools:

2. Search for your School and add it to your profile.

3. Post a topic introducing your "Official" MySpace profile

4. Start sending your thousands (tens of thousands) current students and alumni friend requests!

Current mood:  artistic

1) Not using their logo as their default profile image. In Web 2.0, it's all about using your logo as your avatar.

2) Adding a song to their profile. The first thing people want to do is hit the "Back" button or "Pause" the song. Odds are they are listening to music already or won't like your choice of songs. It's fine with personal profiles, but not professional profiles.

3) Not adding your "School"... it still stuns me almost daily that more than half of the colleges and universities on MySpace haven't done this yet... and even those that have don't know how to work "Schools" correctly.

4) Not linking to your website in your profile, blogs, comments, and bulletins.

5) Not using MySpace for fundraising!
