Urban soul artist Nyounaï, who lives in France, has performed at Nell's Club in New York and Gig's Club in Los Angeles. Inspired by the African musicians in his family, Nyounaï started his solo career and initiated himself in music production by working at different recording studios in London and Paris. Today, being a globetrotter and cosmopolitan, Nyounaï travels physically and artistically between New york and Paris. His album 'Lost Soul', recorded in New York, is full of American flavour while displaying its Afro-European identity. His show is full of improvisation and spontaneity; his aim is to create true synergies on stage with live acoustics, vocal harmonies, human beatboxing, solo guitar and vocals. Nyounai is an underground Soul French artist. Most of people in France never have heard about him. His lyrics are all in English, and these times he's in the USA for the promotion of his album. His style is original, we can notice a US influence, it's good music : he's really talented at what he does, that's to say efficient midtempo Soul groove songs that, unlike many of the other French artists, have not lost the soul side of R&B (don't trust the title !), and are radically different from the pop-bubblegum R&B trend, without being neo-soul either. I hope he'll meet the sucess he rightfully deserves
