Cyprus Creek had been busy writing and playing and all things fun. Over the past month we have been very busy writing new songs and recording demos. We are getting ready to go into the studio in December and record a full album. You heard it, a full album from cyprus creek. We as a band, sticking with the spirit of the holiday, decided to do something nice for our fans. I know what your thinking, and don't worry we aren't going to give you a free computer, ipod, camera or anything of any value like that so don't worry.... just keep reading. We have decided to give you a free ringtone of our new song.... i know... unbeliebly unbelievable. Well, all you have to do is go to our myspace page, look in our myspace player and find the song titled "southern nights ringtone". Then all you have to do is download it and you will have a mp3 ringtone of our new song. How awesome is that. I know, we cyprus creek are a wild bunch of guys. I mean we our wild in a wildy wildness wildage kinda way. Well you love it and so do we so go add that ringtone to your phone and have people call just so you can here it and love it.... YOU WILL LOVE IT.

Okay... Okay... so it has been a while since our last blog entry. I do apologize for not keeping you up to date on the happenings of Cyprus Creek. Just remember... patience is a virtue. Anyway, just to catch you up on things, we have had a busy summer so far. We have only played a handful of shows but we have been busy recording and working on new material.... hey... we are just trying to keep the fans happy. Anyway, we just posted our new song and we have a few more to post in the future so keep checking in. If you haven't, you need to go ahead and do three things: 1. Add our new song to your profile 2. Get your friends to add us as a friend and add the song to their profile 3. Watch "12 oz mouse" cause it is really funny. Well guys and gals... back to the studio we go. This week we are back at the wonderful accent studios working on a new song and doing a few overdubs on 'watching the stars' Keep watching our site because we will be posting our new song in the near future. Also, we are in the process of booking a tour for this summer and trying to schedule some upcoming shows around here. Well that about does it.

Well, i just wanted to let everyone (all 12 of our myspace friends) know what has been going on with the band. First of all, I hope you like the new pics we have up. Second, We are currently in the process of working up some original songs. Our plan is to record some of these songs within the next month.
