Yes, we're recording our second album these days. You may have noticed the many food-themed songs on the last album (cracker, vindaloo etc.) . Well, this time we're taking it all the way and making a concept album all about food. Or maybe not. ;) Anyway, judging from past experience, the album should be ready for release in 3-4 years. :) Also, we will be playing at Garage, Bergen on june 6. with le flan de sang.

We are about to release our debut album The Silencer. Pick it up at your local Norwegian record store January 21th. For those of you who have to drive 50 miles to get to the nearest music store, or if you live outside Norway, we can reassure you that we are currently working on an online release as well. (Though we recommend you to buy the real thing of course!).

Today, kintama announced that the new official address of their website will be ww.kintamaband.com. As a result, kintama fans will have to type one fewer w's than fans of any other band when visiting the official site. As the press release from the band's information department states: "This is a revolutionary new step up in web technology, and kintama are among the very first to take advantage of it. When the new technology catches on, people will save seconds every day when typing web addresses, adding up to several days during a lifetime." What will you do with your extra days? In other news; while on a business trip to Nairobi, Thomas got bitten by a radioactive mosquito and developed super powers. He now flies around the city at night as his secret alias "mosquito man", infecting bad guys with malaria. It is unknown which, if any, consequences this will have to the band.

Finally, it seems the album is actually being released! A batch of CDs are being printed, and are soon on their way through the mail from a magical land far far away. The album will be released on Gold records and distributed by Granat. The music will also be available for download from your favourite online music store, but we can assure you buing the cd will be worth your gryn for the cover alone.
