Just rolled into town and I have to say the past week has been amazing. Billy Gibson was on fire as usual.

First stop, State College PA where we played an acoustic duo set at Cafe 211. On the bill with us was "up start americana phenom" Phil Masorti.

The next day was Kalamazoo Michigan. We met up with a gentleman of a man Mark Patrick who put us up in his COREY LAKE MI cottage (it was lovely). The 411 CLUB was the gig for the night. It was a great crowd and a great show. The West michigan Blues Society provided us with a great backup band "The Out Of Favor Boys"

Next was Big City Blues Magazine's "Sugar's Blues Camp" with Robert Jr and Sugar. The setting was an estate in Empire MI. Billy and I played for Robert Jr's and Sugar's 10 year anniversary on the sand dunes overlooking Lake Michigan. I have never seen a more beautiful fresh water beach...!

Grand Rapids was next and our pal Felix Ybarra and the Kalamazoo Blues Society put together the show. Backing us up was "The Usual Suspects". It was a real treat when Donald Kinsey sat in with us! (Man... those Michigan boys can play!)

The last stop was Auburn Hills and Callahans put together by Big City Blues Magazine. Billy and I played two acoustic duo sets. My old buddy Bob Monteleone sat in and tore it up in guitar.

A ten hour drive and we were back in NYC. Billy got back safe and sound in Memphis and I can't wait for him to get back in Dec so we can play some more!

It's Wednesday two days after returning for Memphis and I'm still recovering! Myself, Billy Gibson, Dave Hughes, Andy Huenerberg and Dave Moore with my buddy-manager Jerry Lobozzo had so much fun. Playing RUM BOOGIE at the Blind Raccoon Showcase was off the hook. The next day GROUND ZERO for the Big City Blues Magazine showcase was equally fun. It was so great to see old friends and meet new people. The blues brings people together and, at least for us, there was a feeling of community. I'm very excited about the response we got! I look forward to returning in May for the BMA's!

Despite the weather everybody showed up en mass at our gig Saturday Night. Not to brag but it was the kind of performance that should have been in front of 15,000 people. It was Billy Gibson's last show on this mini tour of NY/NJ and he turned it on big time. Dave Hughes was on fire, Dave Moore was outstanding. Erik Boyd was laying it down. I had a great time and I'm looking forward to having Billy Gibson back soon! Thanks to all who attended and Happy Holidays!

Friday night November 7th at "JC Fogartys" in Bronxille NY was an outstanding night. My old pal and drummer with me from New Voices of Freedom Ed Driscoll absolutely ripped it up. I'm so excited about having him play with me again soon. Andy Huenerberg (on Bass) was the usual rock solid anchor to our trio. I met so many new people and saw so many old. Tom Dowd, Diane Cricchio, Rene Carlson ,Tom Dudly (Blues Bhudda) and Steve Schwartz (my Pals from the Westchester blues community) sat in with us. We had a ball. My sincere thanks to Kathy Horn (Roadrunner Talent and Media) who pulled the gig together. I'm looking forward to seeing all my Westchester friends soon!
